Ferguson said Berbatov will be leaving this summer because he's not getting enough 1st team football.
Scholes staying at United for another year (sorry if it's a repost)..
https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/140520...ng-united.htmlSir Alex Ferguson has confirmed veteran midfielder Paul Scholes has signed a one-year contract extension with Manchester United.
After abandoning his retirement in January, there had been some speculation that the 37-year-old was deliberating whether to extend his career by an additional season.
However, speaking at this evening's Manchester United Player of the Year dinner, Ferguson told MUTV: "It has been done. He is staying."
Ferguson said he is also planning to bring in new signings.
"Yes we want to add to the squad that's in process at the moment. We have set our stall on certain players," he confirmed.
Thoughts? If i was Utd fan, i'd be hoping Ferguson isn't thinking Scholes is gonna be the regular CM they need and isn't papering over the cracks.
Played well for the half of the season that he did. Happy for him to stay as long as its not instead of a worthy replacement/improvement.
apparently Pogba has chosen to go Juve
you must be pissed though?
not trying to wind you up but you just lost the title, you lost Ravel Morrison earlier on in the season & now your only other decent youth player
Don't have to say much about Ravel lol, I don't expect his career to get very far. Moved to West Ham for more playing time and has played 9 minutes.
I thought we were gonna lose the title after the 4-4 draw, then when I saw the line-up against City at the Etihad it was pretty much the same feeling. I've been bracing for it, it's disappointing obviously, and us winning the league would've softened an overall disappointing season but oh well. Generally not pissed at losing any of those two players, nor the league. As for the decent youth players thing, well I'm gonna be bias so I obviously think there's a lot of first teamers in our youth system right now (Brady, Tunniclife, Keane etc).
tl;dr - no I'm not pissed
Saw Will Keane trending on Twitter and this is why:
https://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Fe...ne-injury.aspxSir Alex Ferguson has expressed his dismay after confirming that Will Keane has suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury.
The promising 18-year-old striker - who made his first team debut against Blackburn in December 2011 - sustained the blow while in action for England's under-19s side on Wednesday evening.
Keane had to be substituted after turning awkwardly during his side's victory over Switzerland, and a subsequent scan has confirmed the severity of the injury.
Speaking to ManUtd.com, Sir Alex said: "I'm very, very disappointed for the lad. He was in the first team squad for next season."
It is not yet known how long Will's rehabilitation period will take, but Nemanja Vidic - who suffered the same injury last December - is aiming to return in time for the start of the 2012/13 campaign.
Massive blow for him and United. I know he's highly rated at the club and with some United fans.
Morrison didn't leave to get more first team options by the way. Alex Ferguson wanted him to get out of Manchester, United didn't offer him a contract, they sold him for 600k & rejected a £3m bid from Newcastle for him, he sent him to his pal Sam Allardyce. Who actually says of Morrison he is reluctant to give him games, because then the demand for him to play every game will increase by the West Ham fans. Morrison has done well to impress in training and the reserves.
Matt Phillips could hardly get a game for Blackpool last season (10/11) when they were in the Premier League, now he's like their top player.
Similar happened with Adam Johnson when Middlesborough went down & with Andy Carroll when Newcastle went down. If he wasn't getting played in the Championship, I doubt they will rush him through in the Premier League, despite this, it doesn't reflect on his talent or his ability to make an impact. Allardyce had Vaz té at Bolton and he hardly got game-time for him there, but, next season you'd imagine Allardyce is aiming to use him as a starter.
It's tough for young talented players, everyone expects them to be tearing up trees as a teenager, teenagers barely get played, regardless of talents & too right in my estimation.
Also United are heavily linked with Kwadwo Asamoah, which shows the merry-go-round as even though Pogba will be signing for Juventus, I think that, that 50% deal thing will happen with him and despite signing for Juventus, I think he could be playing for Udinese next season as Kwadwo's replacement.
Happy Rafael signed a new deal
Who thinks we will play a diamond formation with two winger next season since we signed Kagawa
Might work if we got ourselves an anchorman
Power is the ability to define phenomena and make it act in a desired manner
If you have the ability to define the only thing left is to organize it
So when a pig walks up to you you will be so organised and you will be learning some tactics
So when gets to jiving with you and the pig is wrong you whip your guns out blow him away then you the abilty and have the made that pig act in a desired manner
