    Arrow Grime Production

What do you peeps think about the way grime sounds or production is changing,

do you think its changing 4 the best or such a change will kill

    the grime scene?

I think overall the general production of grime nowadays is better, back in the beggining of grime/late garage the beats where so simple, if they carried on making them grime would start becoming dry.. although I think producers are using Hip-Hop as too much of an influence in their beats, especially the recent ones (Dot Rotten, Rude Kid, Joker)

Needs less half time drums, more 4x4 hype beats. With Davinche, Rapid, Dex, DVA, Wiley, Maniac etc its all good though.

Grime back in the day was made on playstations so obviously the levels are higher.

But musically grime is still basic, wiley back in the day would just get a square bass, put in E E C B F E C B add kick, hat, clap = banger

    nothing much had changed musically.

    good thread

Id say if it changes to more dancey or hip hop drum patterns then it wont be grime imo.
The deep Nocturnal beats are still grime imo but it deffo is changing but who knows man, i cant really answer the question.
