I think I've played this enough now to give it a fair assessment.
Overall this is THE biggest COD game ever, there are so many things to do you'll never be bored.
Campaign. 14 Hours ish it took me on legendary, I daren't play realistic it's one shot and dead. The option to play Co-op is really good and the story was great, good to see campaign get some true love this year. It's also super super gorey.
Freerun - Love this, simply who can parkour the best through a course and get the best times, we've had a great laugh fighting for the leaderboard times.
Gun shop - Making your own camo is awesome, similar to emblem creation, treyarch always do this best.
Zombies - Shadows of evil is huge, like huge huge, I've finished all the rituals but beyond that it starts becoming a bit of a nightmare, it was nice to get the beginning of the end achievement though. The giant is a ramake of der reise and it was great fun playing the old world at war map with the original characters, there are no advanced movement systems in zombies, you can wall run to the pack a punch in shadows thats it.
Nightmares mode - Once the campaigns done this unlocks and its like a campaign but with zombies instead of soldiers, great alternative!
Dead ops 2 - Its back and its awesome fun, find it on the data terminal top left corner in safehouse in the campaign.
Nuketown easter egg - Shoot the heads off all the mannaquinnes in under 2 minutes and they come to life and hunt you down!! Fanastic egg and you can trigger it in actual multiplayer games which causes havoc!
The whole game feels like one massive fan service and im inclined to agree heavily that IGN's 9.2/10 is quite vindicated.
Theres enough here to chill out with once you inevitably get sick of multiplayer, and it's great to play some old style zombies! "Fetch me thier soullllsssss"
Capture the flag is back in the Hardcore playlist so im set for the week!
Well worth the money this year in all honesty, even if multiplayer isn't your thing. Thumbs up Treyarch.
