    Default How to mix a grime beat with an acapella

    so I recently found a old beat of mine, improved it, (tried) to mix it.

    and I have a wiley - boom da na acapella from somewhere...

    Now I dont know how to mix these together to make a good tune, I use FL Studio btw can someone help me out If I upload both the files?

    cant u just drag the acapella file into the fl studio project?

    I dont know what level (in the mixer) the beat and acapella should be to make a good combination, what level do you normally use?

    It varies really by each acapella, it's like how I found 100% Publishing to be far quieter than average recordings. Could play it by ear? Headphones in you want it at the point the lyrics feel crisp enough to hear but not overpowering the beat, and vice versa.
