If you are supposed to sing that to "Lord of the Dance":

1. It's been done before, thus it's a copy.
2. The syllables don't add up in what you've posted.

Well they probably do, but seen as all of the man u "fans" on here only know chants from youtube clips then its difficult to know.

Its just so gutting that the Torres song was created early last year, and theres already a United version of it and Chelsea tried starting it off about Salomon Kalou.

Manchester,
Manchester United,
A bunch of bouncing Busby babes,
They deserve to be knighted.

If ever they're playing in your town,
You must get to that football ground,
Take a look and you will see,
Football taught by Matt Busby.

Infact, you sing more time, against some midtable team.

Etc. Theres a lot more.

Manure controlled the game with good ball possession but still had no cuttin edge, they scored a scrappy goal(might have been an own goal) they definetly need a natural goal scorer, if/when they get Berbatov they will be alot.

We have players coming back now.

i personally think its a shit chant, so its even more annoying when a bunch of failed geordies are singing it about an abel xavier rebore.

Hij
26th August '08, 04:53 PM
Like 99% of them.

Of course they are, but theres thousands of different tunes and rhythms.

No-one else in the league sings an adaptation of 'Fields of Atherny' (Fields of Anfield Road). Nor do they sing You'll Never Walk Alone, or our very own 'Poor Scouser Tommy'- theres several more I can list, but I digress.

There are generic football chants up and down the country to popular tunes but the fact of the matter and the point of this thread is that we came up with an excellent song for Torres, started bouncing around, and you took it for yourselves.

You call it adapting, I call it copying, sing your own fucking shite.

exactly.

its even worse when you consider that they were singing it for a shit player who had only worn the shirt for 20 minutes

its like the spurs fans singing "yido yiddo" for bentley at his first home game (friendly against roma).....whether or not a chant is shit, a player has to earn it....plus you shouldnt copy other teams songs.

That is a little more tasteful. You know what I meant. Allow begging to be banned though. I'm hopeful if I'm not online, another moderator would deal with something similar to the previous picture before, as its classless, out of order and sick.

Football banter is fine, but if you wanna go that low, I'd rather you didn't post here.

FYI, we don't have a history for causing 'trouble' (well in the sense of 'killing' as was implied on our travels).

In the 1985 European Cup Final we took on Juventus in a sub standard stadium. There was a neutral section between the Liverpool fans and the Juventus fans seperated only with a small, one piece of barbed wire across (is it called a chicken wire or something?, I don't know the exact name.).

As usual in most games between Italian opposition and Liverpool, bottle caps, stones and other assorted items were thrown back and forth. Irrelevant who started it first (no-ones really sure anyway), but after being rained down on with stones, the Liverpool fans charged through the 'neutral' section towards the Italian fans in the other corner.

The stadium couldn't take it and collapsed at the far corner. 39 Juventus fans died. An unfortunate and saddening incident. One which tarnished the club for years afterwards and had us banned from Europe for 6 years.

But 'Murderers', nah.

hij, i know casuals who were there at anfield road in the 80s. they will openly talk about going on the rob and beating people up at away games throughout europe

murderers; no. but they came pretty close.

obviosuly heysel is a different matter. juve fans were runnig around with straps. plus that wall could have fallen either way

Hij
27th August '08, 05:43 PM
murderers; no.
.

I never said scallies were angels :D. But, I quoted the most important bit, murderers......... no.

But a couple of scallies robbing Lacoste from foreign stores I could care less about, its got nothing to do with football and well away from the stadium.

Besides, we're more like brothers with most teams in Europe nowadays, so its all good.
