Yeah Big Ben. He probably pars with trappers though. Even 'conscious' rappers are influenced by trap rap in the sense that they are the antithesis of trap rap. They try hard NOT to be what trap rappers try to be :laugh:

I can honestly say I don't like anything posted. Not to say its bad, but the beats sound awfully dated. The first one sounds more like something I'd be on, but it just doesn't have anything grabbing about the lyrics.

Roots Manuva is the one that stands out for me. Awfully Deep was one of the best produced UK albums Ive ever heard (its not very good apart from the production).

If it's not trap influenced its NY boom bap influenced early 00's or late 90's style. like all that jehst shit, klashnekoff, blak twang, all them battys

guys like task force went and did theyre own thing. a lot of their tunes sound LSD inspired.
