r/s, both teams got tough away fixtures second half of the season, we got the edge on you lot though as your midfield is absolute shit, you don't look like doing anything about it in Jan, and you have to come to the lane yet.

Better that we're 8 points clear of Chelski tbh as they're our only competition for 3rd>>>>>>>>>>>>>
And City, Arsenal and Chelski have lost players for January from the ACON and Spurs haven't>>>>>
AND Chelski have Norwich and Swansea away in January, both tough fixtures>>>>>>
January is a good month, I can feel it, I will be so gassed if we beat City.

Fair play to them. Harry's turned them into a solid team who press the opposition from the first to the last minute. He's got the best out of each player and got them playing for each other.

Spurs' wage bill is considerably lower than ours and they charge less ticket prices than us yet have a clearly superior team and manager. Their squad is better as well. For example, look at their back up options in goal and compare them to ours: tragic stuff.

They're also showing ambition in the market, so while we are begging a semi-retired legend to help us out and scraping deals for the likes of Solaman Kalou, they're trying to add Loic Remy to what is an already very good squad.

I can't wait till we get a proud, ambitious manager who will not accept seeing us drift well behind them.

I don't get gassed irl to my Arsenal dargs, cah they've been better than us for such a long time it don't feel right parring them about how shit they are now loool, feels like we might jinx it and then they go on a mad one and beat us just to deny us the title<<<<<
imagine how gassed gooners would be if they done that, I mean by the time we go Emirates we will be miles ahead I expect, but the peakness of being out of the title race via a loss to Arsenal would be Everest<<<<

January is the most important month of the year for us, the start of February is important as well. If City drop points cah they've lost their second best defender, best CM and best CB (to injury) we have a chance of kicking on.
And United ain't got a title winning squad tbh.
Just realised, we got Fulham our last fixture of the season, managed by Martin Jol.
Imagine if title goes down to the final day and he let us win so we could win the title>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
would go down in history tbh.

this l0l.

dont see anywhere near as bad a slump in form as last season cos we got stronger characters like parker, friedel between the sticks instead of clumsy gomes etc.

if we can keep key guys like ade (irreplaceable atm) fit should finish real high.

Fucking yes. Lennon makes such a difference. Livermore had a blinder.

City without Kompany for our games makes the possibility of getting something more realistic.

But the way Harry has hardly been rotating the squad they going to feel it come March times and should tail off
Expect them to finish at least fourth doe

Part of me thinks that - but its basically one game a week as we didn't take Europe seriously. They've also been cautious with players with slight knocks/injuries this season (Dawson, Bale, Lennon, Van der Vaart, Parker, Sandro, King, Gallas... No ones been rushed back).

We still have Chelsea, City, Liverpool and Arsenal away though, so its not home and dry by any means. But more encouragingly this season, we've beaten the shit teams. Should have never lost to Stoke though (cheers Chris Foy). I think we can afford to lose 2, maybe 3 of the games above.

I'll repeat... The whole starting eleven cost less than

Serious question though - what are the results like recently? I remember 05/06, Lennon murking Feirrera (I think?), and beating you 2-1 - that was the first time in ages. So really, over the past 5/6 years our results against you have been good. Really, looking back to the days of Jason Dozzell isn't really making a point.

United are the team we'll never beat for some reason. Had our best chance last year at home, completely bossed it and drew 0-0.

Danielson
12th January '12, 05:36 PM
okay, let's look at our clubs since 2004-05 season to present:

Chelsea
-3 premier league titles
-3 times runners up
-3 FA Cups
-2 League Cups
-Champions League Finalists (should have won but that's another debate)

Spurs
-1 League Cup

you'll beat us by at least two goals at the lane this season mate.

For what it's worth, I cant see Spurs winning the league. They have a great midfield but I can see them bottling it at the last minute, I genuinely dont know who will win the league this year though, if City sort themselves out then they will, if Man Utd sign a center mid then they have a chance but theres so many ifs and buts this season, its going to be a very interesting second half of the season, thats for sure.
