Same old FA.
Foy will take charge of Fulham versus Bolton this Saturday and Wolves against Norwich next Tuesday after the Professional Game Match Officials board, which appoints referees to Premier League games, decided not to punish Foy for what Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp described as "a couple of terrible decisions".
Foy, 49, who has refereed in the Premier League for a decade, was blamed by Redknapp for missing a handball by Ryan Shawcross on the Stoke City goal-line that denied Younes Kaboul a goal for Tottenham Hotspur, as well as a possible handball by Peter Crouch in the lead-up to Stoke's opening goal.
In October, Foy sent off two Chelsea players in a 1-0 win for Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas described Foy as "card-happy" after the game and said he had made "tremendous mistakes", comments for which he was handed an improper conduct charge by the Football Association. Villas-Boas is contesting the ruling.
Redknapp may yet face FA sanction for saying that he felt Foy "was quite enjoying not giving us anything".
"From the start of the game I felt he wasn't going to give us an awful lot," Redknapp said. "That was the feeling I had."
The FA's disciplinary committee is still considering Redknapp's comments before deciding whether to take action, but the PGMO has already given its backing to Foy by retaining him for front-line duty this weekend rather than resting him or demoting him to a Football League game.
Meanwhile, Stoke defender Jonathan Woodgate said that despite Tottenham's defeat at the Britannia Stadium, they still had the best squad in the Premier League, along with Manchester City.
Woodgate, who moved from Tottenham to Stoke in the summer, said: "They're a fantastic team, and I think they'll go close to winning the league, if not this year than next.
"There's pace all over the pitch. It's frightening for the opposing team to play against. And with the ability they've got, as well as speed, they're going to be a good side. Along with Manchester City, theirs is the best squad, pound for pound."
Despite leaving White Hart Lane in the summer, Woodgate said he still maintained a good relationship with the club.
"There's no animosity between me and Tottenham, or anyone at Spurs," he said. "I didn't want to leave Spurs, and neither did he [Redknapp], but that's life. I think they're a great side and I wish them all the luck in the world."

Terrible referee, but then again pretty much every referee in football is shocking. The lack of common sense is mad considering their job.

i agree but what I saw yesterday was possibly the worst display I have ever seen in my life I would go as far as to question if he is responsible for match fixing and doing all he can to fuck over spurs it was a joke he should be sacked

I saw earlier that some mad fans have been trying to slate him on Twitter and sending their tweets to Chris Hoy the olympic cyclist by accident :laugh:

I was going mad when I saw the linesman give a goal kick for that lol. Drogba's time wasting in the last minutes was 5*, the way no one can get the ball off him when he holds it in the corner >>>>

It was very close to being on the same level as the ref we had in the champions league against Barca (Tom Henning Ovrebo) I'll never forget that cunts name.
Some of Foy's decisions were laughable last night, even the little free kicks in the middle of the pitch.

What really takes the piss is that Harry has complained about suttin that every fan up and down the country has agreed on: Foy turned in the worst, or at least, one of the worst refereeing performances in the Premier league in the past decade; 3 missed handballs in the box, 2 of which were to clear the ball off the line, Kaboul hauled down in their Pen area; when questioning the lack of penalty, gets yellowed (and later red carded for a soft challenge), Adebayor has the ball in the net, 2 yards onside, everyone can see it, the linesman is PAID to see it and doesn't, given as offside. Essentially cheated out of one point and neutral goal difference.
On top of all that the throw-ins Stoke were takin 30-40 seconds, they outlawed towels so they'd stop takin the piss and Foy called Shotton up on it...once.
TL;DR Foy is a cunt and deserves to be sacked for missing some of the most obvious calls in football history.
Not just one, but TWO corners given as goal kicks.
Crouch playin basketball to keep the ball in for their first.
Did he get anythin right that game?
