:stunned:

Was definitely worthy of a three game ban tbh.

The legal team also pointed to the fact that Miodrag Dzudovic, the Montenegro player kicked by Rooney, had asked Uefa to show leniency because Rooney had acted out of "desperation rather than anger", and had been "provoked by problems his family had to face a short time before the game".

Waste.

Because what does his mental state have to do with appealing a ban? Suarez shouldn't be banned for swearing at Fulham fans, his dog died.

Was a stupid reason for kicking out but didn't deserve a 3 game ban in the first place tbh.

A straight red for violent conduct is a three game ban.

Arshavins was similar and he got reduced to two games so why the fuss?

Arshavin's red card was not similar. He was forearmed in the face, and barely did anything in retaliation.

My 'fuss' is about the FA being the ones who set bans in the Premier League, I just hope they accept similar excuses from clubs.

The FA and press have taken a real dislike to Suarez it's wierd really.

If Jay Spearing serves a 3 game ban for that clearance and Rooney gets a 2 game ban for being a petulant child :dead::dead::dead:

smfh, it's becoming a joke tbh.

Man said it was a clearance:dead:. He could of completely fucked Dembele's leg over. He got the ball but it was dangerous play. Cmon man.

The fact that Arshavins was reduced in 08 means he always had a good chance of getting it reduced. Also he took the sending off well with no complaint and hanging around the pitch whch helped his case

Suarez swore at opposition fans, allegedly racially abused another player and dives in games regularly. The press have every right to comment and pass judgement on these things.

Hes also a very good player and when he does good things the press also comment, leave the victim mentality out of it

Suarez shouldn't receive a ban though for sticking a finger up at fans giving him shit. If fans can give it out they should be able to receive it and the FA shouldn't put a ban on someone over that kinda thing unless someone does a Cantona or gets physical with a fan.

Apart from that, he seems like a cool guy

I gained enough respect for Carragher when he dashed that coin back in the crowd. Should be more give and take between fans and footballers, clubs are even moving towards calling people 'customers' smh.

As men we'd all agree that theres nothing wrong with giving as good as you get. But as fucked up as it is footbalers cant react they're supposed to be setting examples to millions watching them around the world, including children. Swearing at fans isnt acceptable its sadly up to the clubs to sort out their own fans that overstep the mark in taunting/abusing other players.
