I don't see the point in a hair transplant, if you're going bald you're going bald deal with it or simply shave your head if its that much of a bother, he's not fooling anyone with that dead rat on his head top.

scores and plays well for 10 games

the complete opposite for 10

that's why he ain't world class, go on redcafe and most man u fans would agree so it's not even an arsenal bias ting against him from me

yeah it was kinda obvious it would happen rooney goes through phases of scoring in every game then not scoring at all, he's just a hot and cold player.

Rooney and Aguero will be miles behind by Christmas.

My worries about Rooney being injured were that he'd come back and not be able to pick up where he left off immediately because he's a hot and cold sort of footballer and after today's game he's proven me right.

I've said it loads of times on here, Rooney has patchy form, that's just how he is.

World class players do not blow "Hot and cold" - and you haven't 'always' been saying this.

http://www.grimeforum.com/forum/showthread.php?51917-Best-Player-In-The-World-Right-Now

Rooney is the most complete footballer in the world, he makes ball-winning slide tackles in his own half, plays pinpoint 60 yard passes REGULARLY, scores screamers, tap-ins, headers and cool finishes and always puts 100% effort into it, whoever he plays for. Messi, Ronaldo and flair players like that are brilliant but there were times with Ronaldo (Ronaldinho too) that when things aren't going their way they just sulk and leave the team to do the dirty work. You can always count on Rooney, it is a pleasure to watch him play.

You were the one that capitalised the 'regularly', and said you can always count on him.

http://pictures.bigfunnysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/he-had-balls.gif

Form is temporary, class is permanent. The key is to see how good he is next season or when he's not on fire like he is atm. Only after getting through that phase well, should he be deserving the much coveted "World Class" label.
.

EDIT: Been reading through other "Rooney is world class threads." Some of you should be ashamed of your comments...

The 'always count on him' thing was in reference to his work rate, which I mentioned about two sentences before saying it...

Also, I have always said he has runs of bad form, you're twisting what I've said bro (the effort thing, and also 'regularly' was in reference to the Hollywood pass). Messiah, please don't twist things.

Those comments were not about his form.

Really?! Despite the fact that your opening sentence prior to what I quoted is:

Messi is the best in the world (I said this beginning of the 08/09 season when everyone was wanking over Ronaldo), but Rooney is having the better season.

And you claim that the remainder of your post is not with regards to his form - but to his work ethic?

The post is there in black and white. Claim what you like, but you're wriggling tbh.

Here's a couple for you, Manchester United have conceded more goals than 10 other Premier League teams this season, including the like of West Ham, West Brom and Aston Villa. They have one player with 4 or more assists in the league (Rooney), Arsenal have 3 (Ozil, Giroud, Ramsey).

Aaron Ramsey has 5 Champions League goals this season, Manchester United have 6.

Manchester United are 5th with only goal difference separating them from 6th and 7th.

He's not much more consistent, where was he last season? He was taken off against Swansea and West Ham because he was so bad. He was crap last season. It was actually embarrassing how much van Persie was better than him . We scored 5 mins after he was taken off at West Ham also.

Playing well this season (from September to November, two months), I'm sure it's got nothing to do with the World Cup just round the corner.

And as for England, his form was great in 2009/10, before the pressure was really on.

Brazil in just over 6 months. We will see...

2004 actually

Ask anyone who was watching Barca regularly them days. Ronaldinho was more than deserving the following year.

I was playing Fantasy Football for La Liga and Serie A back then when I had time. I think I saw enough of both to make an informed judgement.

No.

Let me know when you realise that Ronnie won it in 2004 as well and that was the year Henry came second.

I have no qualms about his 2005 award.

Not the Ballon d'Or, you mean FIFA World Player of the Year. Ronnie only won Ballon d'Or once.

FIFA World Player of the Year has been renamed Ballon D'Or. The old term was regards to European Player of the Year.

I would have thought it was obvious which award I was referring to if you read the posts I made with due care.

Sorry, can't read your handwriting Doc.

But you were referring to two completely separate awards. And it's not retrospectively renamed..

Was better when it was voted for by journalists tbh. Michael Owen aside.

.

Now it's all biased and aimed at taking votes away from potential winners.

None of you lot watched Barca that year so, I don't give a shit about your opinions. Ronaldinho was good but not he best player in the world during the calendar year of 2004. In 2005, yes he was. He upped his levels for Barca and was awesome.

Plenty of non-Arsenal blogs out-there that say the same thing I am. Wonder why...

As someone who bullied my mum into getting sky sports when I was in college.. Second half of the 03/04 season he was basically a one man team. Was a bit injury prone that season though. I don't think it's an outrageous shout. A lot of great to very good players didn't win those kind of individual honours, Henry among them.

To this day, Ronaldinho in that three year period was the most exciting player I've ever seen. Whether he's the best or not, don't really care, but did things we'll never see again. Regularly.

(Henry was excellent obvs, not trying to talk him down)

ronaldihno might have carried barcelona but that simply is not enough qualification for winning player of the year or whatever
