obviously im hoping for a win but i cant bet on this. city have looked shakey recently, and we'v looked good up until the draw on the weekend.

city in a shakey state might still walk all over us look what happend to united. plus fffffuck knows what either team sheet is gona look like. are they gona take this game bare serious or send out the youngers? do city even have youngers? i swear their b team consists of man like nasri.

fuck knows how this game is gona go.

apparently the arsenal line up is;

Fabiański; Eastmond, Squillaci, Koscielny, Miquel; Chamberlain, Frimpong, Coquelin, Benayoun; Park, Chamakh.

which leaves a pretty strong bench (verm, gerv, djourou, arshavin)

Subs: Mannone, Yennaris, Vermaelen, Eastmond, Ozyakup, Gervinho, Arshavin

Looks like a 4-4-2. Can understand not starting Vermaelen and Gervinho really but at least Gervinho and Arshavin are on the bench should they be needed.

My assumption is it will be a 4-4-2. We've played that way in both the CC games this season (Chamakh and Park up front against Shrews and Arshavin and Park against Bolton) Interesting Arshavin had probably one of his best games for us playing off Park in that Bolton game.

looks like Nasri will get the central role he craves with Kolorov and AJ on the flanks. I think we can get at that back four though.

The Ox needs to turn his England performances into performances at the Emirates

Chamakh is playing alright. When we play with 2 strikers, they both have much more freedom to roam and this definitely suits Chamakh (and Bendtner)

EA
29th November '11, 10:00 PM
Chamakh is trying to play like RvP and is floating across the front line too much IMO. He needs to stick to coming deep in a central position and play the ball either side of him so he can get in the box. Park should be doing more of the running since he's the more dynamic of the two.

The Ox is gonna be a problem, I can promise that. Quote me you cunts.we really should be utilising his skill and hunger in the 1st team, same goes for coquelin but it'll be harder for him so he should go on loan to another prem team.

Wenger needs to cop a couple of forwards tbh.

Wenger not selling Diaby in the summer for 10 mil <<< :dead::dozey:

Abou should retire tbh, comes like (pause) our own Kieron Dyer ffs...:angry:agreed but it was because he got injured that we couldn't sell him wasn't it loool smh

He's a right off, if he was a animal he would of been put down long time ago.

Diaby, arshavin, chamakh, squilaci really need to be moved aside as younger better players would utilise the game time/1st team experiance more.

January should be interesting, well I hope it is lol

The only players I could see us shifting from that list are Arshavin, Chamakh & Bendtner.

IMO, Arshavin has been fortunate that Miyaichi has been injured because I don't think he would have played as much as he has.

Realistically, we need a striker & another playmaker. Hazard should be our main target for next season and we may not need a striker if Wellington Silva can get a work permit.

miyachi's injury is recent, joel campbell is better
although both campbell n silva will probably turn into a vela
why cant we have it like the wright/bergkamp/henry/van persie days
just play theo upfront now that hes playing like a winger ffs n put chamberlain on the wing
mannone should be second choice as well tbh
theres probably something else but i forgot
im goin sleep now bye

tbh i aint even mad about that game.

a) that was our youngers, inexperienced players, and dead weight out there tonight and they held off the likes of aguero, dzecko, nasri, toure, etc right up until the end

b) they only had one attempt on goal in the 85th minute whereas from where i was sitting it looked like we were laying the pressure on them. they didnt wanna go extra time against us!

c) you non arsenal cunts better watch out for oxlade chamberlain that boy is gona be a PROBLEM for all of you soon enough.

d) one less competition for us to worry about with our thin squad, and one more to slow down the soulless city machine.

e) kos showed us today why wenger keeps him around. he was absolutely fucking solid.

Balotelli is about 10 times the player Frimpong is though lolsmh he has a worse attitude than frimpong and thats what i am basing it on, as you stated he wont 'make it' with his so called bad attitude, as long as he performs well for us his attitude towards fuckwits that have left us wont matter, frimpong will simmer down with age and experience, right now he's very excitable.

plus what lead you to such a defensive outburst anyway, i merely mention balotelli as one example of a player with a bad attitude that made it, that is all, i could easily of said joe barton, rooney, terry, etc

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Frimpongs attitiude. He gives 100% for the club that's all that matters to me, he's a bit vocal and opinionated on Twitter but that dosent reflect badly towards him as a player or his efforts for the club.

Frimpong is going to be sick imo. One of Arsenal's brightest prospects. Him & Wilshere could be a madness in the future.

Cos Nasri the 'world class playmaker' left us to apparently win things but he's left sitting on the bench like a prick. He was shown up by the Ox and we made a tidy profit off him lul

And if you didn't hear the support last night I'm guessing you must be either deaf or you had to put your foreign stream on mute. Full 60k stadium for the Carling Cup>>>

GrimmyGrimGrim

he wasn't on the bench mate he was on the pitch

he left to win trophies.. right now he's at the top of the premier league and probably gonna win the Carling Cup

dont see what the problem is.. you couldn't provide for him so he left

I still don't like him that much. For an Arsenal academy product his technique isn't up to the level it should be, he dosent read the game well and is pretty clumsy in the challenge. I can't see him displacing Song anytime soon tbh

So he left us to sit on the bench for prem games and have a slightly better chance at winning the Carling Cup. Good luck to him

.

Annoying cuz we should've won. If we had RVP or some other world class striker we would've won. City had a world class striker in Aguero who scored and they won. That was the difference.

The game illustrated the need for us to sign a top striker in January. Chamakh is finished. Can't see him getting back to his form in the 1st half of last season. Park isn't good enough at the mo. Not too disappointed though. We got higher priorities.

Still dont understand how arsenal fans can be mad at nasri. Arsenal cant compete for big honours.
