Grime Forum meet grime photographer Verena Stefanie (Kids of Grime) who has been making her mark on the scene by snapping grime artists as they spray on grime sets at events such as Just Jam. Passionate and determined she is creating a photograph documentary of the scene.

D Double E – Street Fighter Riddim (New Video)

Newham General, D Double E doesn’t disappoint, the video is well put together and isn’t what you would of expected, with more attention paid to D Double’s lyrics than to the actual street fighter game and i think it works out better that way. Give it a watch.

BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra – UKG Takeover

Saturday evening on the 24th of July there was a UKG Takeover on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. With a genre clash between Grime, Dubstep, Funky House and Bassline on Mistajam’s show with P-Money, Newham Generals, Maxsta, Mz Bratt, Lioness and more. Then after Tim Westwood had a grime set special for two hours, with Dot Rotten, Ghetts, Devlin, Griminal, Little Nasty and lots more. Check out the audio in this article!

D Double E Interview

I caught up with D Double and the Dirtee Stank crew at the BBC as he was about to perform on the 5.19 show. After filming was done we went to the pub and, over a Bacardi and coke (double measures of course!) had a chat about Street Fighter, Newham Generals and the many upcoming projects he’s involved in.
