Has anyone here had a pair of Sennheiser HD25's? If so, would they recommend them?
Considering a purchase.
I would also recommend the Behringer BCF2000, I know behringer is a shit make all in all, but this control surface....

I need a good condenser mic for recording, I have 150 pound to spend on the mic side of things...
great thread thanx every1
I'm a total newbie and have been taking DJ Lessons at college. But I want to practice mixing at home
What would you recommend I get for under £150?
I've been using Pioneer CDJ's but they are obviously out of my budget at the moment

Does anyone have any recommendations for small monitors (space is pretty small)? KRK RP5's are pretty tempting.
Check out the new grime scene sample pack from sonicmechanics!
It will help new producers get a pro quality sound
I'm a newbie to producing so does anyone have any advice on what to buy? All I have at the moment is fl studio 10 on my cpu and I can make some basic beats
- Audio Interface (can be internal soundcard or external). That's dedicated hardware for sound so will bring your latency down to a decent level. It will also give you some audio inputs for recording etc.
- Monitors. These speakers are as close to flat frequency as possible (other speakers will "colour" the sound and make things more bassy etc), you need to be producing with these otherwise there will be major differences when you play your music on different sets of speakers
- MIDI Controller. Even if you dont want to play keys, speeds up picking sounds
That will give you a decent enough setup for producing beats. Add a mic to that if you plan on recording as well. dv247.com seems to be the best priced in the UK.
So im looking for a DJ Mixer controller. i would like to start out by saying i do not know what im doing as far as djing is concerned; all the hardware daunts me. Therefore terms and names might be bollocks. Your welcome to correct me.
I want a mixer controller to plug into my lappy and use with virtualdj or something. i wanna know what pricegrade they start being worth there cost, and any recommendations based on the undertanding that im pretty much a complete novice. I would however like the piece of equipment to let me grow a little bit with it, i dont wanna be limited by my hardware too soon and have to upgrade without at least gettin some use out of it.
We smoke the Bombudd! Woi fuckin Oi
Does anyone recommend any good beat making software for beginners?

Currently got Beyer Dynamics 250s which I can only recommend. Ver very good. Got an mpk mini, which is well, alright.
Saving up for that sweet live9 + push combo tho.
Hi, if you are looking for real bargains on music production gear then this might be able to help you a great deal - My friend runs an Auctioneer firm that deals in bankrupt and liquidated stock and has all the gear that was taken from the dv247 stores when White Rabbit Records went into administration.
Thereís stuff from tc electoronics, Focusrite, KRK, Native Instruments, JBL, Marshall, Fender, SE, TLAudio, Mesa, Stanton and lots more.
Itís all at Chapel and Chapel Auctions Limited in Essex and they have it all priced and listed on a website, www.chapelandchapel.co.uk. 01702 343734.
Iíd hope that thereís some stuff that might be of some interest to many of you
