I grew up on both those albums. Morning glory had the hits, but Definitely was better imo. I havent bothered with any Oasis album since these 2, but from the tracks I have heard, the other albums are levels below.

I agree with Andre that '13 Songs' is Fugazi's best work but 'Repeater' is also a classic and 'In on the Kill Taker' and 'Red Medicine' are well worth owning too.

Dunno man. Nothing on Definitely Maybe is fucking with Don't Look Back In Anger, Cast No Shadow, Wonderwall or any of the other singles. The whole album is pretty much one big hit.

Anyway, The Verve and Stones Roses >>>>>> Oasis

^ All of these >>> Oasis's best album

Quite typical mid '90s east coast hip-hop. If you haven't heard them already try Illmatic, Jewelz, Word...Life, Doe or Die, The Infamous, Murda Muzik, The 18th Letter, The Natural & Hell On Earth

    Blaq Poet - The Blaqprint

Contains alot of DJ Premier production, and has an instrumental CD with the beats to all the tracks

    Underrated.

Criminally underrated MC very good release from The D.O.C. it's just a shame his voice got messed up in an accident.

Animal Collective - "Merriweather Post Pavilion"

Animal Collective - "Merriweather Post Pavilion"

    Deerhunter - "Weird Era Contd."

    Also, Atlas Sound - "Logos"

And my personal favourite album of 2009:

As I reminisce, never forgot when I was very broke/
Shot the Heny straight, couldn't afford to cop the Cherry Coke...

Can't get into Animal Collective. I have MPP and Strawberry Jam but they just don't do anything for me.
