    Default The term "Grime Rapper"

Does it work? can it be used?

I read it in one of the newspapers this week talking about Stormzy when the Police raided his house, maybe for a more sinister reason than he put out, but im not here to spread FAKE NEWS.

Anyway Does it work? can it be used in our scene?

    please discuss

    ^ THIS

However, it's worth mentioning that Hip-Hop 'rappers' were called MCs before the term 'rapper' was adopted so calling a Grime artist an 'MC' doesn't exactly distance them any further from Hip-Hop...
