    Default Producer Help

    Safe everyone,

Asking for some advice. If I am using logic to create tunes in, can you tell me some plug-ins that allows me to create grimey sounds. What is the best and most used plug-in?

    Peace

If you have Logic already even Alchemy and ES2 that come with it will do plenty for you, provided you know a little about what you're doing. Even if not, that's what YouTube tutorials are for! Dunno if they'll have presets that are exactly what you're after, but (like everything) with time and experimentation you'll be all good.

As stated there is not specific plug ins for grime sounds all plugins do the same thing look into synthesis a bit truss me it will help you out in the long run instead of just downloading all the plugins trying to find suitable sounds (which I did when I first started)

I'm about a week into Ableton and I learnt very quickly that there wasn't a "grime plugin". It would make it easier, but I'm having a lot more fun playing about with sounds until I find exactly what I want. Feels a lot more authentic than just buying a preset sound and hitting a couple of keys.

I get what you're saying though, can be a lot to take in and at first you feel like you're getting nowhere. Just hit up a couple of tutorials and learn the basics. As soon as you learn how to use your software, you'll easily find the sounds you're looking for!

Most modern synths do the same thing in different ways. To start with a Grimy sound get a square bass and fuck the thing up with effects and filters etc. Try serum or gladiator. Everyone loves massive too though i cannot stand it personally.
