    Exclamation Mini Bulk/Cut cycle.

    Gym room seems abit dead, but ill go anyway

    Has anyone tried a mini bulk/cut cycle? For example; 6 week bulk 2 week cut, repeat

    Debating at whether or not to give it a go, thinking of bulking till the 6 week mark, if im on target for my weight gain, then doing the cut, but if not just continue the bulk till 21 week mark and cut from there.

    I know Layne Norton is an advocate of it, and i can see its positives but dont know how effective itll be.

    Knowing you only have 6 weeks bulking will focus you more, and knowing you're only cutting for 2 weeks will also keep you strict.

    Thoughts?

    Waste of time. Unless you're on roids you should be steadily bulking continuously.

    No all natural, even to the point i dont take supplements (shakes etc.).

    I like the idea of how it breaks up bulking and cutting, which will imo keep you more focused, aswell letting you remain lean all year round. Like i said ill do the first 6 weeks, if its working for me continue, if not then continuous bulk is me

    You'll barely be able to build any muscle in a 6 week period, if at all. You're honeslty better off staying in a calorie surplus for at least a couple of years before attempting a cut. My opinion anyway.

    these were my initial thoughts and why i have planned for a longer bulk, see what happens can easy change it up

    Cycling is also one of my favorite activity for fitness purpose. I mostly do cycling on the road early in the morning and sometime in the evening.

    I have used a similar sort of bulking/cutting cycle, and it works quite well to be honest. It is a lot easier on the mental side of things, as it's only short periods of either. I find cutting a month at a time to be easily manageable, and i feel more lively during the smaller cycle than i have felt during longer periods of cutting.

    Was talking about this again with a much more knowledgeable man than myself, mini cut can be utilised during a bulk, muscle loss will be negligible.
