I generally avoid watching Stoke, unless we play them or (occasionally) if they play Arsenal.
Fucking hell it's soul sapping, no nous whatsoever. Glad to see Adam go, he could have walked in the first half, horrible fat cunt - all studs up, every single fucking tackle. They spend fuckloads every year, I swear they were better the year they came up.
Dempsey had a good game. Marking for the first was really poor. Generally solid. Looked instantly better with Dembele on for Parker. Good to have the winning without a Bale goal thing, though he should have scored with his right.
On to the next. Arsenal should beat Wigan and Pardew has basically said Newcastle are downing tools, so oh well.
Saw the below on Stoke and it's bang on. Mongrels.
"It's the sheer hypocrisy of the football club that makes them so universally despised. They kick lumps out of an opposition player and scream that he's diving. They shank clearances and pretend they were kicking it out so a player could get treatment. They make a whole philosophy out of committing hidden fouls in the penalty box to defend set pieces and then go down at the slightest touch demanding a penalty when attacking their own set plays. Football is all about entertainment, and I don't mind a bit of pantomime villainary, but Stoke make a pretence to moral superiority whilst constantly engaging in gamesmanship or outright cheating."
