Why not just replace Theo with Chamberlain :S why do we need to bring in someone new?
was expecting a draw tbh
if we draw utd and win all other games we should still take 3rd
On a plus side i thought Sagna was brilliant tonight, we really can't afford to lose him next season but yeah...
Ramsey looked good as well @Bocat
IMO Giroud isnt good enough for the level Arsenal want to get to. Its all well and good saying he links up play well etc but he clearly isnt a starting No9 lol. I actually like him, but he shouldnt be the starter. No where near clinical enough, he needds about 4 attempts to score a goal.
Tbh I doubt Arsenal will want to spend the money to buy a true striker. The only logical option for them is someone like Loic Remy , who really isnt clincal either l0l but has shown good potential so far and I feel he would be a better striker in Arsenals system. Imagine Cavani in this Arsenal team tho..
Diego Costa, Negredo Lewandowski obviusly as he isnt signing a new contract, even Soldado would be good players to try and tackle as well

I quite like Giroud, he's definitely a good option to have. Plus it's his first season. Undeniably Arsenal need a better striker to start, but there's not a huge amount out there in the market most teams are in (bar Utd, City and Chelsea). I don't watch him as much as you guys though.
Anichebe is an example of how a manager is getting the maximum out of an average-to-good striker. Not going to get 30 a season, but plays a role for the team. Arsenal have a lot of guys playing behind Giroud, Cazorla, Rosicky etc, I'm sure there's a way of using him effectively for the team.
Guys who never even watch him are too fast to jump on his back when he has a string of poor performances after years of being one of the best and most consistent RB's in the league and world.
I've always backed Ramsey as well if anyone actually ever reads my long posts () I've said how much better he is in the middle. He has none of the attributes which make a winger so playing him on the wing is only going to have one result, one which many will and did judge him for. Always had faith in the kid. His effort >>>>
Actually thought he was MOTM last night.
Cazorla was twisting guys up inside and out the way he keeps possession when 3-4 guys are pressing him, it's so crazy ball is glued to his feet. His footwork is amazing.
If we played him in the middle he can give defence-splitting through balls with their feet, he can feint a shot either way, it's so much easier to cross the ball to the right or left when you're in the middl and not right on the other end which takes longer and is harder to be accurate which is why they mostly get intercepted. It's just so frustrating to see him on the wing. I know he's played there before and it's his natural position or w.e. but every single time I've seen him play, his best performances and the majority of his chances created, assists AND goals have come from playing in the middle. So why you would move him onto the wing when we lack creative midfielders (when Rosicky isn't playing) and experienced class players who can pull any trick out their sleeve is beyond me.
Hope Wenger sees the light like he did with Ramsey and gives him game time in the middle. It's mad cos we have Podolski, Chamberlain, Walcott and Gervinho who could play on the wings.
Anyway, on to Saturday #COYG
