half those chances giroud got podolski would have bagged or at least got the shots on target. even theo would have.

giroud is only good when teams sit back like stoke, west ham etc.

fuck giroud i'm anti giroud n not sayin it out of anger or anything lol won 2 bills off the 0-0

if walcott was laying upfront he'd have done a lot better than giroud did

walcott is only shit upfront when teams sit back cos he hasn't got the flashy skills to get past defenders but play the ball through the defence and he's there.

Walcott is just frustrating in that position, he wants to play as a striker.

Giroud never took his chances, let's play Podolski as a striker.

Ox is sick but needs to be on the wing.

Remember when Walcott was gonna sign 100k and play upfront and bang in 30 goals?!

I don't care I miss RVP at times like this, only because he's a player who can make a goal from nothing. Sometimes in football chances need to be created, when Giroud took that touch in the box and skied it, some players may have done something special to make that a shot on target or a goal.

Walcott is the most basic striker, straight line runs that defenders have no problem stopping. Poor targetman obviously, he's just not all that

Also @Bocat Giroud is a good player man, sometimes he's abit lumbering though

Giroud had a shocker. Arsenal played better once wilshere came off. Were very unlucky not to win.

apart from munich once what top teams has giroud scored against?

    doesn't rise to the occasion

for such a big guy he doesn't get on the end of enough crosses/corners.

when gibbs cut in on the edge of the box n passed it to him n he skied it. podolski there >>>

    so many other times too.

don't like him at all anymore tbh.

jack isn't 100% yet but i thought he got sonned by fellaini today. still has a lot of work to do to make that transition from just a very good player to a great player. fellaini was too big for him

    ramsey today >>>>>>

motm for me. put in that WORK!

theo has been shit since he signed that contract which is a big let down cos he was doing great until then. although he isn't the answer to our striker problems, he deserves a go upfront vs teams that don't sit back.

podolski - walcott - chambo in the final 20-30 minutes would be dangerous where it's end to end stuff.

    sagna defensively >>>>>

would prefer jenkinson as he offers more going forward tho

not a bad point in the end tbh. chelsea have fulham away (derby, anything can happen + berbatov n ruiz >>) and then liverpool away on sunday.

spurs are at home to man city.

    fuck giroud

also FUCK PLAYING CAZORLA ON THE WING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

guy is TEN TIMES more effective in the middle. will challenge anyone to that. TEN TIMES more effective. so so so frustrating and annoying to see him on the wing.

    legend out

Walcott didn't do much today he doesn't deserve to start. We need to start with Podolski Giroud Gervinho. We missed Gervinho's runs today...

Arsenal fans stay chatting shit about Giroud. They don't watch he does for the team lol. Only concerned about his misses. Every striker has missed sitters this season...

    /

Another which is funny is people saying Podolski would of put them chances away... Yeah he would of but them chances wouldn't of happened... Giroud is important to our attack from the beginning... He brings people into play calmly

He doesn't pressure enough. His fancy flicks and slick touches only work vs teams who sit back. His shots/shots on target ratio is dreadful. He hasn't scored or performed vs any big team bar Munich.

He was never going to be an RVP but I think Podolski is a better and more proven goalscorer than him at both club and country level!

Cannot confirm. Please refer to my many previous posts about Walcott for reasoning.

Giroud is the most frustrating player to watch but he does have the makings of a good striker, just needs to stop going for glory so much. Also saying every striker has missed sitters is not enough reason to deflect criticism away from him lol he consistently wastes our breaks, he can come good though. Unlike Theo lelelele.

the real question is tho, why isn't podolski being given a chance upfront despite the fact he has speed, strength and a rocket of a left foot, and is a proven goal scorer at both club and international level with tons of experience?

yh simply wanting Walcott to stay is getting gassed.

Same old story tho, he has a good run of form and his supporters make noise, he goes on a bad run of form (just come back from injury) and his critics pipe up.

    /

The ox should be starting imo, he causes havoc whenever he comes on, think he'll be an important player for us next season.

And I maintain he is very easily replaceable and I would rather we had someone else starting for us. Even in games he scores he's barely noticeable lol.

still waiting for someone to tell me what big games giroud has performed in.........

walcott has won us some crucial 3 points. we wouldn't even be in contention for 4th if it weren't for walcott so guys can keep parring him all they want lol.

when he scored a hatty vs newcastle none of u were making noise

For his pace Walcott could be much more dangerous. Was sick in the first months of the season but honestly since after signing 100k he seems to have fallen off abit. They often get compared but I think Lennon bar injuries has stayed abit more consistent at the tail end of this season

You mean Walcott had a good game for us in the seven years he's been here?!
