Rumours of Squillaci, Chamakh, Djourou and Arshavin all leaving possibly all on loan but thats over 200k a week in wages off the bil which would leave room for a new Theo contract and a top level signing. Here's hoping...
Squillachi is being looked at by Marseille, Hannover are looking at Djourou, don't know about the rest but in a recent press conference Wenger seemed like he didn't care if them two went which is good. Hopefully they all leave fully.
Also bar Djourou all 4s contracts are up in the summer I believe so that will be them off the wage bill.
Looks like Chamakh is the only one who will have wages subsidised. We aren't covering the wages of Denilson or Bendtner either. Squilacci will be a free and Djourou a loan with a view of a permanent deal.
To the best of my knowledge Fabianski, Squillaci, Theo and Arshavin are the only ones who have contracts expiring.
The others all have contracts up next year.
i still think Sagna will go
I think barring Arshavin those 3 or 4 players can give a hint into how Arsenal were financially when those signings were made. IMO having to buy Squillachi for example shows a club that maybe wasn't in the best state financially, I mean look at the caliber of our most recent signings, Cazorla, Giroud and Podolski are some of the biggest signings weve made in a while.
Ofcourse I could be wrong and it couldve just been Wenger buying a bad player or 2, honestly though it seems like weve maybe got more to spend this season (And last season)
From my limited understanding on Arsenal's finance apparently the Emirates was still getting paid off or something so we were cash strapped.
Do a nasG adding these players starting line up and bench bro; mvilla, lopez, dani alves, hummels, balotelli
