Mr Snowman, one of the most well respected grime producers from outside of London, has put together a mix tape consisting of the freshest dubstep and grime instrumentals from 16 different artists. Productions from the likes of Royal-T, Dexplicit, Stinkahbell, Spooky, SRC and Ganjaman makes Power of 16 one of the heaviest mix bag releases in terms of its production talent.
To date nothing of its kind has been done independently before. And if you like the sort of grime that makes you want to kick a hole in your TV screen and dubstep that has you looking like you’ve swallowed a lemon, then Power of 16 is one of the most consistent, true to form CD’s you can get your sweaty hands on this year.
A fully UK effort, with artists from Birmingham, London, Nottingham and Leeds featured on the CD, it’ll be available February 1st 2012 from iTunes, Amazon, Beatport, HMV, Play, Tesco, Napster and the rest of ‘em.
