In 2010 I have a number of plans which are already rolling forwards slowly and should see completion. The relaunch of Earth616 as a physical and digital release platform is one I have already discussed.

I feel that the internet is an incredibly powerful medium and that radio in and of itself as an audio only experience is dying out. As we move forwards into an age of wireless high speed connectivity and multi media on demand it is important that we utilise these things to their fullest.

I have seen many artists appear on youtube videos and streamed video feeds without really grasping the opportunity to showcase what it is people follow them for first and foremostly: their musical talent.

Beginning in the Spring of 2010 I will launching, in addition to my Monday night radio show, a live streamed show broadcasting in both audio and video format. As many of you will remember, Axe FM was a pioneer of this platform and it helped many of the artists breaking through now to gain wider exposure. Tim Westwood has also been hugely influencial in the cementing of UK MCs as respected musicians with solid fanbases firstly through his excellent WestwoodTV Youtube channel, but also with his one off Crib Sessions specials.

Free of the constraints of commercial radio such as editing and strict time limits, I hope to do a regular show once a week broadcasting live from a studio featuring a wider variety of Guests and also a wider range of music which may not be suitable for a commercial station such as Kiss.

I am currently looking for a studio from which to broadcast, but there are numerous suitable locations within London and hopefully with some small sponsorship we will be able to invest in a space which can become a regular home.

As yet a launch date and times are not confirmed, but this will be a regular additional show bringing Grime music to a wider audience, as well as adding a much needed multi-media format for people to promote themselves, both established and up & coming.

I am personally very excited about this prospect and I hope you will be too.

I look forward to greeting you to the debut broadcast sometime in early 2010.

the best thing about this is that you are free from the constraints of legal radio, especially time and language etc . This could be sick , just have to get the mc's on it ; am sure you can do it if anyone can

If it was done with ustream, I do believe they have an option where you can ensure that the broadcasts are archived. With any luck it would be possible to save parts of the broadcast and have them hosted as 'highlights' at a later date either through Ustream or Youtube.

That won't be necessary on this platform.
