I'd say JME's probably sold around 30k CDs, if not more, including digital, including his entire back catalogue, from like 06 til now.

Not too mention thousands more tshirts.

Sadly their are no reliable Grime statistics for sales though.

Grime MCs are the most disillusioned musicians ever smh. What ground work has Maxsta done to warrant even saying "thanks for the platform"? One mixtape and a few free downloads? Realistically speaking, he's not been around long enough or done anything noteworthy to make those statements.

People look at the stars of today and wanna skip steps whilst totally ignoring the fact that they were on the grind releasing mixtapes, touring nationwide and making moves overseas for years before they went commercial.

There's too many MCs getting blinding by the bright lights before falling off into mediocrity.

I did used to rate him as a barrer actually. His voice was annoying so I couldn't listen to his tracks for too long, but he defo had good bars and potential.
I am now too old though to get emotional over MCs so I will neither send for him, or care if he responds.

It's a shame some MCs think they are too big for Grime yet are still plainly very emotional about what the little old hater Grime fans think.

The scene is full of premature diva's. none of them have done enough. Pop artists work hard. their work rate is deeper, these half assed grime artist think they will make money with the attitude they've taken to grime.
