You have the potential to be close, that's about it. Until Rafa stops beginning the season rotating his players and sticks with a core group of 7/8 players that play every game when fit, you won't win the league. Even then you'll need more firepower upfront and wingers. (Barry is not a winger)

So 'Pool are relying on Babel to step up and Gerrard to contribute more.
As for wingers, other than Pennant and Babel, Liverpool have no natural wingers. As an Arsenal fan I can appreciate that you can get away withouht having any out and out wingers, but Liverpool have no "modern" wingers to speak of either.

We won't win the league this year. But again, the squad feels like its being improved. Messiah weaves his merry words again but I can't wait to see how Arsenal do either, you've not exactly got a perfect squad yourselves. Whos your back up central defender if Toures/Gallas are out? I've realised, that the only time Liverpool fans should start shouting about the league is if we are top or in with a shout for the run in.
Fuck predicting the Premier League, people put their favourite club further up their predicted table and others put other clubs top so they can appear 'impartial'.
Just bring on 16th of August..... And we'll see how many predictions are way off the mark.
