where did you expect to finish at the start of the season?

tbh top 3, didn't think we'd walk it as suggested and have been complaining about our lack of ideas in midfield since the middle of last year, wasn't expecting that dramatic a slump in form though

player of the season?

terry, was the only player in our "bad moment" that pushed on in games, has played consistently well in defence all year (ivanovic a close second)

worst player of the season?

zhirkov or bosingwa

best/worst signing of the season?

luiz injected us with something fresh and scored key goals, also allowed ivanovic to move back out-wide, without him we probably would've finished 3rd/4th

ambitions for next season?

challenge in the league and not to go out of europe with such a whimper

Adel Taarabt - Won us points on his own and is such an entertining player to watch. Seeing some of the things he has done is worth the price of my season ticket alone. Closely followed by Kenny, Faurlin and Derry.

worst player of the season?

Rob Hulse - Useless.

best/worst signing of the season?

Best - Taarabt 600k rising to 1 million is a bargain for 19 goals and 20 assists. Kenny 800k for something like 25 clean sheets? Top keeper. Derry for his leadership attributes. Worst has to be Hulse, big wages and a transfer fee and he has been useless.

where did you expect to finish at the start of the season?

Around the 14th ish mark, safe but not by much (happily we've done better than that it seems lol)

I'd go with either Barton, Tiote or Nolan tbh. Personally prefer Barton, so will go with him but those three have been immense for us. His crossing/passing and attitude is top notch nowadays. Glad we kept him on even after the prison thing.

worst player of the season?

Want to say Carroll, but that might be a little harsh - so Jamie Perch. One of the worst rightbacks I have ever seen.

best/worst signing of the season?

Best - Either Tiote or Ben Arfa. Not seen enough of Ben Arfa this season thanks to that cunt De Jong but he will be an amazing player next season I think. Tiote is just class tbh, can't remember if we signed him in the summer or earlier though.

Worst - Not really a worst signing but the worst decision was to not sign a new striker in January smh

ambitions for next season?

Finish in the top ten, challenge for Europa League (unlikely to get it, but at least be within a respectable distance)

between roger johnson, ben foster and steven carr. scott dann gets special mention though, shame he got injured, it all went downhill when his and johnsons partnership was broken.

Not sure, pains me to say it, but Scholes. I love the guy (n/h) brilliant in his peak and one of the best Utd players ever. But everytime he plays these days, he doesn't look like staying on the pitch (red cards)

Where did you expect to finish at the start of the season?

Top 2.

Player of the season?

Nani, Giggs or VDS. I would prefer Nani as he was my first thought. I think Nani has been excellent this season and has finally come out of Ronaldo's shadow. This season he has been a key player to our success.

He needs to learn how to take corners though.

Worst player of the season?

1. Carrick - The FA cup semi-final.
2. Evra - I think he's been good going forward, but has been terrible defending. Way too rash this season, I actually fear for us when a good team and when he plays.

Best/Worst signing of the season?

Best: Hernandez
Worst: We don't have any? If I had to choose one, I guess it would be Lindegaard? He hasn't really played though...

Where did you expect to finish at the start of the season?

We were terrible in pre-season, before the season kicked off, I predicted we'd have a mid-season breakdown like last year, I didn't expect it to start as early as it did, we had only 19 senior outfield players, so I thought when the fixtures started to get congested we'd struggle then.

All I expected was top 2. We weren't great the season before, we just pipped United last season and we didn't invest heavy in summer.

Player of the season?

Petr Cech, I think, there are a lot of idiots about who wanna knock someones career after injury, in todays game whenever someone has a long-term injury, once they've recovered any mistake that's made after that is due to the injury, and they're supposed to never be the same again. I remember a couple of howlers he had before the injury. The truth is under Mourinho we was just more defensively mean.

Chelsea have the best defence and Petr Cech has been as immense ever.

Worst player of the season?
Ancelotti.. He was a former player.. and I just place the blame on his squad use. Essien has been below-par, our actual worst player who managed to get significant games was Bosingwa as he did little to add to our defence or attack.


Best/worst signing of the season?

Worst has got to be Torres, Liverpool forced him on us, we wanted him in the summer so it's not really anyones fault, the plan was to get him in Summer, where we'd have a formation change etc.. but they wanted to cash in then, he's been an ill-fit and a disruptment thus far.. but, optimistic for next season.

Ambitions for next season?

Ambitions is obvious.. EPL and the UCL.. What will happen hmm.. I need to see who our manager is..We'll have a great squad, but this year United won because they had the best manager, everything else was all much of a muchness. You see how Madrid brought in Kaka, Cristaino etc.. and still didn't win.. A good manager is always key.

I got a feeling Ancelotti could end up at QPR as well btw.

where did you expect to finish at the start of the season?

Top 3, we didn't really strengthen in the summer and it was obvious we would have a dip in form at some point mid-season, we always do lol.
Getting rid of Ballack and Deco then not replacing them was a big mistake too imo.

player of the season?

Terry with Cech a very close 2nd, the only 2 players (apart from maybe Ivanovic) that were consistent all season and looked like they wanted to win every game. The same definitely cant be said for our attacking players in that terrible dip in form.

worst player of the season?

Bosingwa, looked very dodgy defensively this season and attacking wise he wasn't very effective.

best/worst signing of the season?

Best is obviously Luiz.
Worst is Torres, when you look at the amount of money we spent on him I'm pretty sure we could get someone like Aguero for £50m, definitely spent too much on him and he hasn't proven worth it yet.
I'm confident he will make an impact next season though.

ambitions for next season?

Win the league, challenge in the Champions league and maybe win the FA cup. (not expecting a treble)

I'm hoping we sign a centre mid/ playmaker and Neymar in the summer too.

Where did you expect to finish at the start of the season?Everyone else wrote us off for 3rd or 4th but i always had a feeling we'd challenge. I really thought Wenger would have sorted out the issues we've had for the past 5 years but I was mistaken yet again. Another shocking year defensively and in regards to fitness, new phsios and defensive coaches are definitely needed.

Jack Wilshere - Exceeded all expectation. Will never forget his performance against Barca

Hernandez has clearly shone this season. Followed by Ryan Giggs, followed by Nani.

He hasnt been too bad, but O'shea clearly cause i dislike him.

best/worst signing of the season?

Best is obvz Chicarito, worst is bebe. Same price, massive difference.

ambitions for next season?

Retain the premier league, do better in the FA cup.. Hopefully a good champions league run again.. And perhaps our young guns will do a ting in the carling cup.
