I think Ramires & Mikel will be the bedrock of the team. Ramires isn't always cute in possession, but, neither is Meireles for instance.
It's not as important, although it is desired that he will get better, when Ramires first came he was hopeless and he has got better & better.
Mikel & Ramires are like 24/25 too much time for them to become imperious.
Ususlly in a double-pivot you have one ball playing midfielder and the other a midfield warrior.
You know like Xabi & Mascherano.. was it Mascherano's job to sit in front of the defence and play the ball out.
Mascherano went all over the shop causing problems & hunting down the ball, like all midfield warriors do.
Importantly in the defensive phase of the game, he retreats back to be alongside the deep-lying playmaker.
this partnership is not new.
Baraja & Albelda.. Davids & Tacchirnadi... Gattuso & Pirlo... Sandro/Parker & Modric
Ramires & Mikel together as a player combined is a player like Yaya Toure, he's a gargantuan, but, they're like 4 years younger.

Lampard and Ramires should be centre mid.
Mikel can replace either of them depending on what happens through the season and play in cup games to give Lampard a rest (even tho he wont want to be rested).
Meireles can be sold.
Didn't rate Mikel until this season. Finally saw how important he is when he plays.
Mikel is number one for me & gladly, I can't see Mikel not starting.
More people have, I don't like when people think he's gone through some sort of chrysalis though. HE's always been this good.
Damiao, Hulk & Neymar front three against Brazil
Caio.

I rate him highly too especially with the attacking quality we would have if we sign Hulk.. But I can't see Lampard being dropped, I think Ramires is more likely to be dropped.
I think Lampard and Mikel is a better partnership than Ramires and Mikel because Lampard is better on the ball.
Lampard is 34 in the next month. Ramires has the engine. Mikel has the class.
You do think it'll be either Ramires or Lampard losing out to partner Mikel. I can't see Ramires on the bench.
but, Mikel & Lampard have been super together, just age for Lamps.
we will have a shit load of games this year so the two deeper midfielders will rotate between mikel lampard ramires mainly, with romeu josh (and de bruyne if he stays) being the younger options, plus meireles and essien are still here, although i wouldn't really play them over any of the first lot
if we are thinking defensively for a game we'll probably see ramires wide and lamps/mikel quite deep like this season
what i do like about our summer business is it seems to be giving us so many options, in theory:
striker - torres lukaku sturridge hulk
wings - marin, hazard, hulk, sturridge, ramires, de bruyne, mata
central playmakers - mata, hazard, de bruyne, mceachran
the combinations are really promising
one thing though - it might change with the stronger attacking options that we now have, but di matteo was very favourable of wide players who were aware of their defensive responsibilities; ok @Zoffie has said that hulk is, but hazard and marin from what i've seen and heard aren't, de bruyne the same (although he does put in a shift) - dunno if i'm reading too much into it but gives me the impression abramovich will definitely give an 'attacking' manager another go instead of robbie

Even if RDM gets the job it'll be short term. It's clear he's looking for a training field philosophy manager.
KDB I doubt will be playing wide, there's a lot of competition and he's specifically been working on playing in that double-pivot.
KDB's actually been criticized as well for his lack of tracking back at LCF, but, then like Sturridge, he was playing out of position.
RDM never really played a 4-2-3-1 if we're being real it was a 4-4-1-1
This team is being built for a 4-2-3-1
Do you not remember how badly he played there against Napoli 1st leg bros? But I suppose that was AVB so we shouldn't read too much into it.
We need to get him a bit better at passing if he's gonna play there though, and it should be Mikel - Ramires not Lamps
According to The S*N. Chelsea offer £10m for Dembele.
It's gas but Add another 10m to that![]()
"This is Fulham for heaven’s sake. This is a club which 15 years ago didn’t have two brass filings to rub together, which used to play in front of 3 or 4000 rattling around here. Which once played on a night in Rochdale needing points to stay off the bottom of the English League. But were brought by a very rich man, and there he is. And which has now become a hugely enriched club.”

Got that Virginia Tech Swag, shoot up your school and laugh bitch!
Flamengo couldn't pay his wages, it's not really about Ronaldinho being shit. They are into the season, but, his wages are not coming into his bank a/c.
His brother/agent started marching into official Flamengo stores & started to take merchandise, the staff try to complain and he'd just say, do you know how much they owe us.
Flamengo wanted to send Ronaldinho & the Flamengo youth team to Japan to get money spinning friendlies in order to pay his wages.
They wanted this to happen and the Championships are going on. It was just a joke. They had to agree to let him go.
I still want him to come to the Prem. He would love Newcastle as a party town!
He did make some great runs from deep when he played there tho.
Lamps on the ball >>>> Ramires. That's why I prefer Lampard and Mikel because Mikel does the defensive stuff while Lampard makes the passes
All 3 could be rotated during the season tbh, bound to be injuries and dips in form. It will work out fine bros.
Ronaldinho seems like a signing Allardyce could make lul
looks like Green is off aswell
