Poll would be unfair. There's more 360 users than PS3.

Xbox have been doing online for a long time. And micro$oft own and maintain most of the servers it needs to run through.

Playstation have only been doing it properly since PS3. Cause PS2 online was just shocking, pointless and slow. I have no idea what PS3 online is like.

But i'm pretty sure Xbox are leagues ahead. Their the pioneers for consoles online gaming really.

not true, i used to play fifa 06/07 online ps2 and it was fine, infact it was probably better than xbox live. I get problems with them atleast once a day

lol. Well when I played PS2. It was over swag. You couldn't even talk during a burnout match which is lame. You could only talk in pre game lobby. I swear half of it was running through 56k modems too LOL.

Now PS3 have copied Xbox alot, they are catching up. But they'll never be the same. Xbox originated it, since then Playstation have been left to catch up.

Lag/Speed of game isn't really the best way to judge it. Xbox and PS3 both run through the same internet. Xbox has better servers. But lag depends on what your connections like, and where/or what the conection of the other person is too.

Lag Pisses Me Off Differently. Especially When A Guy Is About 7 Miles Away But Then Within 4 Seconds They Are Beside You Blowing Your Head Off.

Most of the Lag a UK player recieves is mainly because of the poor quality broadband in our country, and the fact that it all still runs through copper wires and telephone lines.

Where as other countries are way ahead of us.

When we have ADSL2 in UK, things should improve noticeably.

PS3 you don't need to pay for cause they haven't got it all working yet LOL.

Xbox you have to pay for now cause they've had it setup and working for a long time. And if there's any problems they always give you a free arcade game or something. It's only £40 a year.

PS3 won't be free for long. If either could afford to do it free, it'd be Xbox cause they own the servers and networks.

There are alot of desperate men on Xbox and PS3 though i swear. I know girls who complain the same thing LOL.

Basically put it this way, I have all consoles and I say the 360 is the best for online play. Even people with PS3 only that I know say 360 is better online and that is because of several reasons; all the little extras like being able to chat to a certain person when your not even in the same game.

I'm not saying the 360 console is better, but for online play it goes in order of:

1. Xbox 360
2. PS3
3. Wii

In terms of console hardware:

1. PS3
2. Xbox 360
3. Wii
(although everyone knows this anyway)

In terms of good games:

1. Xbox 360
2. Wii
3. PS3

Disagree all you like but this is from experience of all consoles.
