Arcade Sticks - Street Fighter.

I've seen my mate absolutley merk guys on Street Fighter 4 with an Arcade Stick but I just can't get used to 'em. He keeps telling me to get one & I'm really thinking about it now, just so I can practice & practice for when I go online.

I just wanted to know weather my mate's right or would I be better off sticking the the pad??

Any player worth his salt on any SF game (or any fighting game for that matter) uses a stick.

And for once, the official SF4 sticks have very good reviews. Mad Catz usually make shit peripherals but they had help this time.

Problem is, it's quite a lot of money for something you might just stop using after a while.

I had about 10 of these brand new (for ps3) last year selling for £40 each

Not sure if they were the exact same ones, they were the limited edition with certificate and all that

How much you selling it for? (If you still have it)

What design did it have on it?

I've got an SE and a Hori EX2

but i can findlinks to SE's for 25 quid and TE's for 50, will post later when ive got more time to look for it

Don't feel forced to switch to joystick if you've reached a skill block (where you feel you can't improve no further).

Shizza is a top Chun-Li player in the US, uses pad. Check LA Riots I + II + (Soon to be out) III if you don't believe me.

I own a Hori Fighting Stick EX2 but i don't use it, i'm going to be true to the Shizza style and become godly via pad.

Pred you're lucky you're on PS3, you'd have been throughly beaten by now if you was 360

I got one, SE edition with modded Sanwa buttons because i'm kinda small and TE is too big for me to play on my lap tbh.

definitely worth the p if you main a character with tk motions, charge supers or piano inputs tbh.

makes 1 frame links as easy as pie

and i'm always down to do a set with any of you ps3 mandem, know that i would have got top8 in svb if i entered
