Recent Indie music is the most unoriginal shit ever, they all 'copy' something. Plus Kurt Cobain and Nirvana weren't even indie.
There is no such thing as original, everything draws influence from somewhere.

and to this day there is a HUGE diff between indie and gunge all though they DO share similaritys they still differ more than grime (currently) does to hip hop

Good point, a good producer can make a good beat using samples & influences from practically any genre of music & they usually listen to a wide range of music.

look at drum and bass for example, it was a fusion of hip-hop breaks and ragga. but if u listen to it, the drum patterns are alot faster and well very different lol, the construction and sounds arent even rap. totally unrecognisable from the original source.
where are ppl in grime are taking the exact same beats and patterns and calling it grime.
ide never say never experiment, but ide say that u have to keep the music identity, and make something different from it.
