Producers/MCs

1) Present yourself professionally, particularly when contacting someone for the first time as first impressions are lasting. Make sure spelling is correct and any files attached are tagged correctly (with title, artist name, contact info etc). If you are sending a tune out, it may be worth getting it mastered so it sounds more professional. Make sure tracks are in a suitable format; a 320kb MP3 file will be suitable for most cases (if you don't know about bit rates, read this). Also remember quality over quantity. Sending one track as a 320kb MP3 is more likely to get a listen than sending 15 tracks of varying bit rates. Finally do not hassle people, as it is annoying and they will ignore you in the future. Constantly asking people if they will play your track will not help it get played.

Presented myself correctly, no reply without hassling and then with a bit of hassle still none. Only a few will support up-coming artists properly.

today i am working at my sound/music more incidentally (real job and so on...).
think in 10 years (when i am round about 40) I will harvest praises... dunno how the common sense will be then. but I give a fuck on trends and surely bring sumting that has influences from the 90s till now. no unique style today. i like the diversity as long it has the vibe/funk.
Maybe my english is improved to bring authentic grime as we had it the last years

its not dying imo.
today I only promote me via soundcloud. I have a myspace and a yt but don´t use dem. No gigs, no studio... I consider still, that the tings man bring nowadays will form the image of the tomorrow (unless the name will be changed).
