I disagree. Standard has loads of energy, and the beat is sick. The bars are sort of different, but not bad. I'm not really feeling JME's singing on Show.

I think you've misunderstood. And it's common. A lot of people do it.
It's not the album to take grime mainstream. It's the album by someone who used to make grime, moving to the mainstream, to make mainstream music.
