Philly Street Rap.
I see Cassidy, Beans, and freeway get talked about on here a lot, but I wanted to post up a couple vids from some of the underground cats who've been spiting in Philadelphia for a minute now.
A friend of mine who I been trying to get into grime said that alot of the stuff I linked him to (Big H-Practice hours; Esco-Risky Roadz) reminded him of certain hungry philly spitters. The energy is live, they got their own regional/local flow and slang. And some of these fools look crazy when they spit. Like Smoking white crazy. I like to think it's just that angel dust though.
Anyway, I'll let the music do the talking, but suffice to say, i see alot of the paralells he was talking about now.
