I agree, I was only saying it would be more of a fight if a prime Hatton took on PacMan

it'll never happen and probably shouldn't after watching the fight on Saturday, but i'd love it if Oscar fought Margarito at either 147 or 154 and won, and finally he'd either get the respect of Mexican fans, or if not he'd at least have just shitted on their hero again

would be like a scenario from a film

tbh i think he will retire now

    he has nothing to prove

he has a future career to carry on making millions

and lastly he is smart and he recognised his time is up, he has little to gain in fighting again

Bob Arum would almost certainly choose Hatton as Pacmans next opponent or maybe a warm up fight before. Both fighters are willing to take the fight and the purse would be huge

Margarito would own De La Hoya then his legacy would be shot too pieces again, he wouldnt do it

before the Pacquiao fight i wouldn't have counted him out completely

hope his business partner beats Margarito in January anyway... Shane's a pretty live underdog imo

lol, Mayorga gave Shane so many problems last fight out he shouldnt have taken this fight and Mayorga smokes like a rasta. Shane even admitted he was scared of Berto in the post match interviews, he should of retired. Margarito will own Moseley just as a warm up to the Cotto rematch

yeah, that's the purpose of it on paper...

...but i'm not counting Sugar Shane out completely. the Mayorga fight could have been an off night rather than a sign of his years catching up to him. just one fight before that he gave Cotto hell and arguably earned a draw remember... and it's not like Cotto hurt him enough to have damaged him in that fight

and Margarito took a lot of punishment against Cotto and he is human after all, that could have softened him up

But for a Welterweight Margarito is a freak of nature. He has pound for pound the best chin in the game right now. He just way to strong tall and young for Moseley. I to hope Moseley can pull a performance out of the bag but he wont be able to. When Cotto fights Margarito again the divide in class will be pushed further

Nonito Donaire gonna fight Montiel in '09

i like Donaire but Montiel is one of my favourites right now... i think he can KO Donaire if he can catch him

then winner faces Darchinyan (i think Donaire would beat him again and a Montiel fight could go either way but will def be explosive)

watched the Wlad fight instead... was as anti-climatic as any Wlad fight i've ever seen

he did look skillful though and it made me doubt Haye's chances a little more... will Haye's chin be able to stand one of those clean left jab, straight right combos? they looked very powerful
