Last time out DeGale shocked me with his power. While he is the better fighter, I like Groves slightly uncultured style. Plus Groves has a few years to mature.

Groves has a weird cross between Froch and Haye style of fighting. DeGale's power in general has surprised me - remember how worried everyone was that he'd be a feather-fisted slapper when he first turned pro? Now he's getting proper leverage on his punches and throwing with really good form. I think he's much more refined than Groves, who doesn't seem to have improved much since he turned pro at all. DeGale should be able to exploit his looping punches and shitty defense and TKO him.

If Pacman Margarito is a good as the first 5 v Cotto I would of happily paid PPV for it.

Yeah, I'm sure the fight will be explosive, but it doesn't hold much weight as a credible boxing accomplishment at this point.

The Dilks fight was the first time DeGale fought v anyone of note, not that Dilk is anything but an average English fighter and the way he blew him away convinced me that DeGale has some punch.

DeGale beats Groves now and probably always. Groves style of unloading in bunches means I have a soft spot for him

I have got 10 quid on Haye in the first 3 and 4-6 making 13 or 20 quid.

I got Groves wrong, has a big heart but I thought he was better than that, earned a bit on Haye though.

Got 5 quid on Pacman 4-6. Maybe a little early, but I cant see Pacman hanging around too long and if he can counter Margarito or catch him quicker could be brutal.

He thought Kenneth Anderson who is 12 from 12 and it descended into a brawl in the 3rd and Groves went down. He was shocked but not badly hurt but the rest of the 3rd and the 4th they traded blows and Anderson looked like he might get the stoppage.

The 5th was mainly Groves as he avoided brawling and thought smarter, then in the 6th he got the TKO victory.

On the top rank card Mike Jones, who Bob Arum wants to take to England to fight Kell Brook fought Jesus Soto Karass. The fight was action packed and one of the best fights I have seen this year.

In the 2nd Jones rocked Karass and spent basically a full minute windmilling Karass without any technical or tactical thought and didnt even drop him. From the 3rd onwards Jones was gassed and Karass walked him down all night digging shots into his ribs.

Jones had a few nice hooks but it was a terrible performance which he won on points from some dodgy judging.

Fight was arguably better than Pacman v Margarito

Spinks was a career light heavyweight. Tyson barely beat anyone of note. Certainly no one who makes him better than Lewis (who actually beat Tyson head-to-head lest we forget.)

In fact he get KTFO by a 42-1 underdog.

Tyson's whole mythos is based off "shoulda, woulda, coulda". In reality he's not even a top ten heavyweight.

Actually, no, I'm not saying that. I don't have either of the Klits in my top ten either.

But to answer your question anyway: Wlad, no; Vitali, maybe.

It's funny, though, how the Klit bros are so berated for having weak records and how Tyson is placed on a pedestal when there's not really that much difference between them.
