C/S your points about JMM stepping up. But Financially and in Legacy terms Im not sure Lightweight will achieve much. I remember reading that he faced Mayweather in hope of cashing in on some big paydays before retiring.

I would like to see the Katsidis fight, but I dont think there is any doubt that a prime JMM beats him, or any one else. Also im not sure that they are money makers.

I also take back any comments I have made previously regarding David Haye and his ambition and admit i was completely wrong if he faces Fraduley.

In terms of legacy lightweight is just fine for him. All these "22 division champion" titles are almost completely hollow now with the amount of belts and paper champions around.

Khan might be his biggest, most realistic payday but if he gets beaten down he doesn't really have any where else to go afterwards.

As for Haye, I'm embarrassed that I ever supported him and I'm embarrassed that him and Khan are representing British boxing on the global stage right now. Froch may not be the most skilled fighter ever but at least he has some cojones - although his bitching and moaning after the Kessler fight was lame too.

My own part time fan view is

I dont really watch anything below Super featherweight, but no Chris John?

I would agree with wlad, but Im not sure any heavyweight deserves a mention bar Adamek, due to the amount of ducking and diving. The fact that Froch beat Pascal, yet Pascal beats Dawson, with Adamek losing to Dawson means Im not sure who is where.

I thought Ward was excellent v Kessler and Martinez v Pavlik (and Williams) with their awkward styles.

A Berton win v Mosley would put him in my top 10, Bradley is probably in their but im not convinced he beats Khan now.

JMM sits somewhere in the top 10 too.

Chris John's title reign has been pathetic. He has some skills but he's done virtually nothing with them. The Marquez fight was a robbery and beating Rocky Juarez is not really any kind of achievement these days.

You really ought to keep an eye on the lower divisions though - they're far better than the ones up top.

Adamek is borderline to me, he looked pretty lackluster last night against someone he was expected to comfortably beat though.

I don't place much stock in triangle theories, but personally if there were going to be rematches of Pascal v Froch (at 175lbs) and Dawson v Pascal tomorrow, I'd put my money on Pascal and Dawson respectively. Pascal seems to have come into his own since the move up to light heavy, but I still think Dawson is the superior boxer - he just looked unmotivated and possibly injured, yet still had a reasonable chance to steal the fight on a K.O. had it not been stopped by the head clash.

Berto don't deserve shit, and the Mosley fight is long off the table. He's apparently looking to drag up either (the lightweight) Joan Guzman or (the junior welterweight) Marcos Maidana for his next fight. After Haye and maybe Khan he's the most protected fighter in all of boxing right now.

Bradley's a good, well-rounded fighter but I don't expect him to go further than Khan, Ortiz or Alexander. He had that good little run of taking on all comers and beginning to clear out junior welterweight, but as individuals none of the guys he beat are really top ten material. Dirrell outclassing Abraham and being robbed against Froch and Ward outclassing Kessler and Green successively is more impressive than beating Peterson, Holt, etc.

Martinez is the truth, btw. He'll beat Williams in the rematch, mark my words.

Ivan Calderon will be back in my top ten if he beats Segura well on the 28th, which I have a feeling he will do despite being quite old now.

The super featherweight thing is a mental issue in seeing people below 10 stone fight. Also they are too quick at times for me to comfortably follow. I remember watching Naseem Hamed when I was 11/12 and thinking he weighs only a little bit more than me.

I think Martinez will clear out middleweight too.

I havent seen Pascal v Dawson yet, but I was shocked by the result.

Finally I am biased but the Haye being protected I cant agree with. He went in with Thompson after 10 fights or so, a huge step up and hardly ideal for Haye.

In Enzo and Mormeck he cleared out the division and I remember he certainly wasnt heavily favoured going into either. He could only beat what was already there.

Barret, Valuev and Ruiz may not be glittering, but considering the step up its certainly not a terrible record.

Thompson - okay. He was 40 years old though, and a career super middleweight. Oh, and Haye got T.K.O.'d.

Haye was a massive betting favourite over Enzo who was a blatant Warren hypejob. I think I may have even stated on this forum prior to that fight it'd be over in quick and brutal fashion.

The Mormeck win is alright but he was also 40 years old at the time I believe.

Haye also firmly ignored Steve Cunningham's existance during his brief cruiserweight reign. It was a very desolate division though.

His heavyweight run thus far is nothing short of a farce. Barrett, Valuev and Ruiz - are you kidding me? This from the guy who slaughtered the Klitschko's and the whole heavyweight division for a good year or two? Didn't he promise to give the fans the fights they wanted to see as quick as possible? And what has he actually done? - avoided each of the Klitschko brothers multiple times and made excuse after excuse after excuse and instead fought a small collection of has-beens and never-weres. Barrett was mediocre and long past his expiration date; Valuev was a lumbering oaf who was massively protected by soft opposition and dodgy decisions for years while avoiding the Klitschko's; Ruiz is, what, 40? Plus he hadn't beaten a top ten ranked opponent in seven years coming into the Haye fight.

And what now? AUDLEY HARRISON! It's unbelievable. Haye is far and away the biggest joke in boxing right now.

By the way I also don't believe a word Haye says in regards to the Klitschko negotiations and stuff. The man is a proven liar and everything he's been claiming is completely counter-intuitive. The Klitschko's have proven they mean business and would definitely make no effort to avoid a fighter of Haye's calibre.

Maidana looked poor against Chop Chop Corley too apparently.

Who is Keyser Soze? He is supposed to be Turkish. Some say his father was German. Nobody believed he was real. Nobody ever saw him or knew anybody that ever worked directly for him, but to hear Kobayashi tell it, anybody could have worked for Soze. You never knew. That was his power. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And like that, poof. He's gone.

convenient that he speaks up now, when both the klits have already signed for other fights. he doesn't deserve 50-50 anyway.

    hardly big fights though

Haye should take 60-40 and get it on tbh. Although the second deal sounds fair.

I will chuckle if Haye gets caught by a huge Fraudley left hook.

With Kessler injured now hopefully the super six goes straight to the semi's. Although I guess there might be a lack of money if they do.

still, they're contractually binded thus making it safe for haye to run his mouth again.

i think kessler could have still gone through with a k.o. victory over green, so i imagine they'll look for a replacement. i can't imagine green would be willing to just give up that remaining super six payday. be cool if bute joined, knocked out green and progressed to the semi's - although there's probably a bigger chance of haye-klitschko and mayweather-pacquiao being signed on the same day than that happening.

I want to know who these boxing fans are that email Haye asking him to fight Fraudley

    Calor Gas

The worse thing is I am vaguely intrigued to see Harrison retired, although I wouldnt begrudge him a one lucky punch victory seeing as Haye gave him the chance.

If Haye ever mans up and agrees to fight Wlad, he will be dominated and brutally stopped.
