I understand a lot of sampling happend in music production but people normally edit/change them and add their own twist.

Personally i dont think this example by Footsie should be exceptable, hes got a simple loop from a vengenace sound pack, and just added a simple drum pattern over the top and hasnt done nothing to the sample, yet he has created this instrumental and has now claimed it as his beat.

Also dont vengeance have some rules about your not allowed to sell any music with their samples in, therefore this wouldnt be able to put out for a release.

I just think that this is lazy and wonder how many producers get away with this?

sounds weird but depends how famous the sample is. Stealing underground samples and claiming they are yours is low, but stealing commercial samples is ok because they are readily indentifiable. but it's a very lazy tune regardless

Very few 808 tracks are good. It's sad to see Footsie start doing this shit to when he was one of most original producers about.

The vengence sample packs are used by about 99% of dubstep techno and dnb producers, if they werent aloud to be released on tracks no one would be selling any of there music... i can spot vengence samples in pure different tracks...

but about foots using a vengence sample as the main synth and putting 808 drums on the top... so what? no one else did it so therefore it's original, and its fuckin big imo.. u cant say it aint a big beat just coz it uses a vengence sample
