you sure? Im sure i have maybes in some older cheesier tunes... cheers tho ill have a fiddle
Also Moss youre tunes go in dude, feelin em.
yeah get an organ up, sytrus will be a good program for that, add a lexicon concert hall (med light) to it at about 30% mix, that should be something at least similiar
You could always sample it, even just to have a closer look at the WAV form and see whats going on that way
sounds like an old flute/vox sound you'd get on an 80s keyboard, probably a sample keyboard
update, its also kinda in this zomby tune at like 35secs!

defo a flute of some other wind instrument on the zomby one, as CTC said, probably from an keyboard.

it will be called a "lead" I think, not sure what specific variation its called, the sort of sound I've always skipped over
I've not heard this sound much, but that sounds like the sort of thing you could make (or get close to) easily using Sytrus.
I think the best way to go about it would be to make the one sound for the "main" part of the note, and then make another sound for the echo-ish bit (the part of the sound that holds on after the original impact of the note), and combine them. I don't know all the technical terms, but hopefully you can see what I'm getting at.
Although obviously, if you've heard the same sound in so many different songs, it means it's most likely a preset on a keyboard or a music program, so another option is to try and search through the presets of everything you have, or contact the producers of one of these tracks and ask them what they used.
But depending on your skills, it might be quicker and easier to just make something similar. I reckon with Sytrus or something you could get very close with not too much difficulty, if you're familiar with it.
pad sound with a short attack and some release perhaps?
not this one in particular no, a lot of these old keyboards have a similar soundset though. get down to a charity shop/car boot, I got a crappy one for a quid...left it for three years without putting batteries in it and now it just makes distorted bass ...BRILLIANT
