Gascoigne
Robson
Shearer
Charlton
Scholes
Or do you mean Liverpool?
Just reading his timeline, basically saying at his peak Michael Owen was the greatest player we produced.

Owen was good, but there's at least 10 strikers i'd put above him and that's not counting mids/defenders etc
Edit: Maybe not 10 but there will be a few above him

I can only think of Shearer and Linekar off the top of my head.
Fowler and Cole couldn't do it for England for whatever reasons. Owen was a top 3 striker at his peak, Ballon d'Or runner-up too.
I think he has peaked you know, his fitness looks terrible these days. Maybe he's burned out from playing 40-odd games a season since the age of 16 or maybe it's just cos he smokes.
nah mate, i'd call it even, theyve both had good competitions for england but both flopped (n/h) in big comps too. owen in important matches tbh>>>>>
imo no 'product' other than gerrard has lived up to their full potential since the mid 90's, fowler, cole, owen, lampard, ferdinand ect
