Just reading his timeline, basically saying at his peak Michael Owen was the greatest player we produced.
What's your thoughts?
Owen was good, but there's at least 10 strikers i'd put above him and that's not counting mids/defenders etc
Edit: Maybe not 10 but there will be a few above him
Fowler and Cole couldn't do it for England for whatever reasons. Owen was a top 3 striker at his peak, Ballon d'Or runner-up too.
imo no 'product' other than gerrard has lived up to their full potential since the mid 90's, fowler, cole, owen, lampard, ferdinand ect
