My number one hope for this summer is Falcao.

The last 2 seasons that we won the league Drogba scored over 30 goals.
This season the only reason why United were close to City was b/c Rooney got 30 goals.

The importance of a 30 goal + a season striker is unbelievable.
The more likely you're striker is to get that the better.

Torres only hit over 30 goals a season once, most other seasons he hasn't hit 20. Drogba really & truly is like Torres, all other seasons apart from 2 he's struggled to get 20.

I didn't follow Falcao as closely, I didn't even watch the final you're talking about, I knew of him, I knew when Villa wanted him as well, but, what has impressed me is when I saw how many goals he's got in his 1st season in La Liga.

I have a thing where, I saw Eto'o at Mallorca, he went to Barca and the move helped his goals go out of control.
The same with D.Villa moving from Zaragoza to Valencia.
The same with when Torres moved from Atléti to Liverpool..

So when I saw a trend, all of the strikers that were getting good goal scoring returns at the teams under Madrid & Barca
in La Liga, I always think a move can be great for them, you saw Aguero getting about 20 goals a season in La Liga...
So when he signed for City, I was thinking.. only a matter of time before he gets 30+ & he's just 23..

That Falcao has scored sooo many goals & it's not a one off.. Hell yeah.. I want Falcao

No, Atléti have to sell Falcao, they haven't paid all of that money upfront and they are going to default on the next payment of the transfer, they also have other debts to satisfy & the goals that you are see him scoring on tour.. The whole reason why after a long season they are playing friendlies is because they are being paid Ł1.2m for these games.

They need money, which is why he is up for sale. Atlético are a selling club, most of the players that start for them now, check if they were there 2 seasons ago.
