What was your target before the season started? - To stay up
Did you reach this target, if not, why? - We did it, just about
Best moment of the season? - Cisse's goal vs stoke was special. The news of the full time whistle at Stoke on sunday was mental aswell, we had done it.
Signing of the season? - Easy - Djibril Cisse. The guy is a machine. If he hadn't been suspended for 7 games in total we would have been safe earlier, without him we wouldn't have stayed up. Can't wait to see him do a full season.
Worst signing of the season? - Shaun Wright-Phillips. The man has forgotten how to be a footballer.
What do you want next year? - Avoid relegation and finish higher than 16th. Clear out the deadweight and bring in some good players.

What was your target before the season started? - Challenge for EPL and Champions League and integrate some younger talent in to our squad
Did you reach this target, if not, why? - Half and Half exceeded all expectations in the Premier league but underestimated opp to many times in europe
Best moment of the season? - Has to be the 8-2 just simply for the fact that it was so unexpected
Signing of the season? - Welbeck( I know we didn't sign him but having him this year from Sunderland has basically been like a new signing. Will be looking forward to how he performs next season. His performance vs Everton>>>>>>>>
Worst signing of the season? - No one tbh
What do you want next year? - Just to see the team move forward and stop relying on Scholes so much in midfield

What was your target before the season started? - Challenge for fourth. Get back into Europa at least. Try and win something.


Did you reach this target, if not, why? Failed massively in the league. Achieved the other two. Wouldn't say it was succesful with the FA Cup loss, but we start next season on a better footing than we started the last one IMO. Summer signings were a little annoying, but several of the players will still improve over their careers.


Best moment of the season? - Beating Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea and breaking the cup drought - need to be more consistant agaisnt the shit teams.


Worst moment of the season? The whole Suarez incident, would like one season when the focus is entirely on picking up points. Oh and Lucas being injured for so long.

Signing of the season? Poor summer to be fair. Henderson

Worst signing of the season? Coates or Downing. Coates money could surely have been spent on another striker if we were never gonna drop Carragher to 4th choice

What do you want next year? A better challenge for 4th or higher and a good run in the Europa - keep bettering the previous season.

What was your target before the season started? Avoid relegation, pure and simple. Different sets of our fans had different objectives but my personal hope was that we avoided relegation to the basement.

Did you reach this target, if not, why? No, we finished in the relegation zone and went down. It was pathetic and we went 17 games without a win at one point. A truly embarrassing, harrowing season. The reason was that our manage underestimated this division and stuck with most of the team that won promotion.

Best moment of the season? Beating Swindon 2-0 in the JPT final. Wonderful moment but it didn't make up for the overall shite season.

Worst moment of the season? Losing 3-2 to Yeovil in the penultimate game of the season despite leading twice. We'd done so well to win three or four on the bounce to give us a shout of survival but two epically poor bits of defending meant we lost

Signing of the season? Pah. Erm. Neal Trotman at centre half, he came in just before Christmas and helped shore up the defence a bit. He should boss League 2 in the upcoming season.

Worst signing of the season? There's numerous choices but it would have to go to either of our backup keepers, Fleming or Soderberg. Both absolutely useless but the latter was a coward which was worse.

What do you want next year? To win promotion straight away. I'm very confident that we'll do it, too.

What was your target before the season started?: Win the league and or FA Cup, at the very least qualify for CL. Win the CL if possible but wasn't something I expected.

Did you reach this target, if not, why?: In the league, nowhere near. The combination of AvB's shit tactics and falling out with players plus some players having terrible form at certain points in the season meant we flopped in the league.
Very pleased with the cup competitions tho.

Best moment of the season?: Barcelona away, Napoli at home comes close too.

Worst moment of the season?: AvB's reign.

Signing of the season?: Juan Mata.

Worst signing of the season?: Meireles.

What do you want next year?: A more creative midfield.

Did you reach this target, if not, why? - after the way we started, the injuries, the sale of players etc to come 3rd is a massive achievement. Cup performances were not acceptable though, I'm beginning to get annoyed with Wenger's lack of interest in the FA Cup tbh.

Best moment of the season? - Walcott's 5th against 5pur2 / van Pizzle's 5th against Chelsea. Seeing that coke dealing incestuous scumbag Terry fall flat on his fat neanderthal face was gold.

Worst moment of the season? - I'd 8-2 answer that question.

Signing of the season? - Arteta without a shadow of a doubt, links our midfield perfectly. Not a surprise that in 11 league games without him we only won once, against West Brom last game of the season.

Worst signing of the season? - Park Chu-Young. Nothing personal against the guy but his signing was pointless, he's played probaby 90 minutes all season.

What do you want next year? - I WANT A TROPHY GODDAMIT MUTHAFUCKERS AND THE TIN POT CUP DOES NOT COUNT. Love you Arsene.

looking at my post in the above thread i agree, league challenge flopped but happy wit the european effort boy..

another expectation that i wanted was to see the beginnings of transition, i really wanted avb to do well and see a slight form of identity shift

torres' goal at the nou camp, hopefully bettered on saturday

torres' miss at old trafford, throwing a 3-0 lead away against united at home (that really pissed me off), in general league performance has been pitiful

mata, just brilliant, don't know what we would've done without him this year tbh - eva carneiro's promotion to the first team aswell if that counts

What do you want next year?

top 3 - really need to reaffirm role as one of the best teams in the league

and some new signings from the 23ish age to become successes the same way mata luiz and ramires have, more minutes for bertrand and mceachran, maybe a bit of that transition i was talking about - will grudgingly accept a trophyless season as long as we give a good acount, won't really give a fuck bout trophies if we get the champions league this year as i'll be gassed off that till 2014 anyway

What was your target before the season started? - Get play offs/ Promotion. Didn't expect to get play offs with what's happend about money.

Did you reach this target, if not, why? - Yea got done over though

Best moment of the season? - Brugge away losing 1-0 pulled it back to 1-1. Then had 10 minutes added on, scored in the 100th minute to win 2-1. Just under 6000 in the ground and around 4-6000 outside, best 3 days of my life.

Signing of the season? - Easy - Chris Burke - influention scored loads of important goals. Burke will tear you apart again.

Worst signing of the season? - Hussleklep absolute wank.

What do you want next year? - Avoid a 10 point deduction, try get a few players in build a good foundation. And get a new owner.

Did you reach this target, if not, why?
LuL did we fuck, got rid of our manager who we should of kept, to get schteeve mcclaren who fucked us over bought in donkeys and left after a horrible start. cotternil took over and kept us near the bottom. sean o discroll came in as first team coach and helped cotternil just about manage to keep us up.

Best moment of the season?
probably the only good part of the season - beating leeds 7-3 at ellend road

Worst moment of the season?
pretty much all off it, but mainly the fact we lost to derby both times.
Signing of the season?

Adlčne Guedioura without a doubt came in on loan at end of January and was a man on fire, gave more heart than most the team put together, he was one of the reason we stayed up in the end. and also scored a peach of a goal in the leeds game which won goal of the season

Worst signing of the season?
well all 3 of mcclarens flops were shite ( greening miller and derbyshire) but derbyshire was outstandingly shite, nothing on the player he was at blackburn, played a few games at the start was shite, constantly tried to dive and got booked for it a few times. had a "mysterious" injury since.

What do you want next year?

with so any players out of contract and our future owners still not sorted, at this stage i just want to survive
