Power is the ability to define phenomena and make it act in a desired manner
If you have the ability to define the only thing left is to organize it
So when a pig walks up to you you will be so organised and you will be learning some tactics
So when gets to jiving with you and the pig is wrong you whip your guns out blow him away then you the abilty and have the made that pig act in a desired manner

Maybe. Reading around, it seems official that Barcelona gave Chelsea permission to speak to Guardiola (as at this time he is still under contract)
Which means there isn't anyone lined up & it could be difficult to find a replacement. Perhaps leading to the appointment of RDM

He seems to have done well and i think he would do well given a full season

More chance of Jose returning that Guadiala. I do genuinely believe he is going to take a break

I think he will most likely get the job, yes.

I do however, think that all he has done during his time in charge is go back to plan A and field the old guard, which isn't going to benefit Chelsea in the long run. A one year contract seems fair, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone by December next season because he's failed to rebuild the squad effectively.

If we get CL next season I'm pretty confident he will be, he should be offered it regardless though.

    lol @ Guardiola

Probably would be offered it but don't want him to get it, IMO he ain't ready nor good enough for the role. Lacks the authority and draw to bring in big players who aren't familiar with the name he holds at Chelsea through his playing days.

Btw not sure if it holds any weight but over the course of his reign RDM has dropped down from 10/1 to be our next manager to now 1/2.

This is it. Obviously helps that the players are playing for him as well.

He deserves to get the job full-time though. Even if they don't win the CL, he's got them playing a lot better, won em a trophy.. So he'd deserve it.

He's also got Torres playing quite well which shouldn't be overlooked, our most important players since he took control have been Mata and Ramires (24 and 25 respectively) tbh and most Chelsea fans will tell you if Ramires doesn't play well we don't win.

This myth that it has all been cos of the 'old guard' that we've done well since RDM is rubbish tbh, JT got sent off vs Barca ffs

Mata struggled for most games when RDM took over & then again in the Barcelona games, which is not a slight on Di Matteo, Mata settled in pretty quickly at Chelsea as we were set up in a Spanish possession style under AvB. RDM came in & embraced more direct football, so you'd expect it to have an adverse effect on Mata, but, not all games we've had to be really direct & Mata has shined in some recent games.

Obviously everybody talked about the Torres formation, the 4-2-3-1 & getting the ball up faster etc. It's no doubt helped Torres as everybody said it would.

Off Topic. On Ramires, (the one who escaped being loaned.)
Ramires has actually been crucial for us in the Champions League, He was horrible in the double pivot in the 1st leg giving away possession untold, that cemented his place in the team on the right.
In the Napoli game at Stamford Bridge, he crossed the ball in with his left to Drogba to open the scoring, then Ivanovic's goal, he ran down the right, nutmegged to Drogba who played it into Ivanovic (I think)
Then Benfica, it was Ramires to Torres to Kalou.. I think.. Then The Barca games, in the 1st leg it was Lampard to Ramires to Drogba.
Then obviously the Ramires chip in the 2nd leg.

Again in the FA Cup he scored from the right wing position, but, earlier in the season as well when we were playing 3 central midfielders Ramires was in scintillating form & when he didn't play we struggled. Ramires wasn't poor under Di Matteo & there wasn't a transformation.

I think Lampard has been super coming back into the team, but, if there is any wonder Di Matteo move it's been Mikel, because he's much-maligned & a lot of Chelsea fans when they heard Ahnzi were interested in January a gang of Chelsea fans were rubbing their hands together with glee.

Mikel shouldn't have been dropped imo. He caught a lot of negative attention in the Liverpool game at Stamford Bridge when Cech passed to him in a bad position, because Cech was under pressure & he wasn't allowed to launch the ball up to the pitch. Charlie Adam actually studs Mikel's ankle. The referee misses it. Liverpool score, Mikel got scape-goated.
I also like that Bertrand has been used as a competitive member of the squad.

We've had a good go in the cups, it's not always been pretty & that's one thing that works against RDM, Mourinho was a winner & the main reason Roman could justify letting him go was because the standard of football wasn't particularly impressive, the managers hired in the mean time, have all previously over seen teams that have played some of the most attractive football.

How we got to the finals of the Champions League, in terms of the style of football we played was critiqued, even though people understood the context, there was a story saying Roman is aspiring to do so in the future in a more stylish fashion & was upset of the links to Stoke.

I don't think they will rush the decision and so perhaps RDM will get to stay on a rolling contract until they're sure of their man, but, I believe they're reluctant to see RDM as a long term option.

rolling-contract would be a bad idea though in terms of attitude towards rdm from players

the context of guardiola being on a rolling contract was cos he was allegedly so good he had the leverage to do that, rdm's would be the board are so unsure they don't wna commit

Maybe, I don't know, but, you have to remember Guardiola's 1st contract even before he had success and was still a huge gamble was a 1 year contract.

I'm in the camp where we do our best to find a great training ground manager now.
My criteria is someone who knows how to teach teams to play together well.
    Someone with experience.
Someone who plays quick direct football/ football conducive to the quicker game.

@Zoffie Mata and Ramires have been our best players all season I agree, but I think they've stepped it up since RDM has become manager, he changed Mata's position which I didn't agree with at first as he was doing well left wing, and it took him a few games to start playing well there, but now he's in most peoples Prem 11's in centre mid/amc.

If he wins the CL I really don't see how you can disrespect him, we shouldn't be anywhere near the CL final with our squad in comparison to the other teams in the semis.

We beat Napoli 4-1 with style, ground out an efficient 2 leg win against Benfica, played the worst football ever seen vs Barca but ours goals were still lovely.

Fuck this great football nonsense I'm fed up with the search for it tbh.
