The England football team will wear kits bearing the Nike logo for the first time next year, after ending their decades-long association with Umbro.
The Football Association has confirmed that American sportswear giant Nike would design and make the clothing for the national team's men's and women's sides at every level from spring next year.
The contract runs until July 2018 and replaces the deal with Umbro, who Nike bought in 2007 but decided to sell this summer.
yeah heard about this a while back, it was widely rumoured, bit shit that's it's actually gone through. nike are poor these days whereas umbro consistently make classy kits:
umbro been setting the levels in kit design for years.
anyone who has bought a nike shirt will know the quality is crap, the material fucks up after a few washes.
you can also forget buying england shirts for anything less than £25 even when they are out of season. buying old ones for a fiver >>>>>

Nike kits look sick, but the materials they use always feel really cheap.
Adidas kits >>>>
No power of genius has ever yet had the smallest success in explaining existence. The perfect enigma remains...
Umbro kits are the best imo.

england home shirt, £9.99 with free delivery bros.
Umbro are the only people what make kits i'd wear tbh.
they got a sick cut to them and they dont use shitty slinky materials
.
I've never had Adidas so can't say but I don't like the designs anyway. Umbro's just have the bare minimum in terms of templates but with a bit of character, all of the shirts look different to each other. The England tops are the best ones out imo.
Anyone know where I can buy this:
I'm not a replica wearer in general but this is smart as fuck I've wanted one for ages.
Umbro kits look the type of shit I used to do P.E. in lul
Nike still make great kits:

They make some great looking kits, they ain't great quality, plus Umbro kits are only full price for the first few months then they drop down, Nike are world class at ripping the customer off. Some of their international ones are nice (France home/away, Poland home) but their club shirts lack any kind of innovation or creativity in the design. They know they can keep putting rubbish kits out because they've got all the big contracts.
I'm not a fan of Nike in general though, too much emphasis on the advertising and promotion rather than the actual product.
slyly i wanna find more of a socially-acceptable excuse to wear football shirts lol, might go to this futsal kickabout thing weekly just so i can rock the nicer ones like holland/juve, walking round ends in one like you're 7 <<<
