Leave out your irrelevant arguments. This is supposed to be a constructive thread.
nobody is arguing bro.
Logan you need more beat selection instead of playing the same stuff over and over
Yes then haha repped for that documentary the other day
100% right though. It happened with jungle now you have people on the dnb forums complaining about how shit their scene is and how it needs to be like the old days. It the exact same situation. People are trying to force the issue of sales too much (with methods like delaying releases until the "right time") and basically when the sound changes to fit a larger audience it loses what it began with along with the followers who were there from the start.
So to sum up, I would get releases out as soon as they're aired on radio and start pushing the type of music that got you and the rest of us into grime to start with.
Also you're right whoever said about taking a look in the producer section etc. There are a lot of good grime producers about on the forum alone

im shaking my head at some of the stuff thats been said in this fred kmt some of you are just asking for stupid/ things that WONT happen.
Logan, i have one thing to say, dont push away the young ones trying to come up, im sure you see vids or listen to rinse in a while and think "damn this guy is good let me look him up" cause tbh you just saying email me is air when you dont even play their tracks and dont tell them why, i've been told people have been sending you real grime but you dont play it, if you could explain why do so. cause lets be honest if chipmunk sent you a hiphopish sounding grime track you would play it without even thinking twice.
I understand what your saying bro but Logan gets 1 hour a week to spin whatever he does and usually theres at least a hour a week of Grime music by known people hence why that gets spun where as on rinse some djs have 3 hour sets once or twice a weeks so they have time to add "Fillers" as such..
i see what you're saying, but come on when have you heard logan say "i've got a new tack to play today by someone u might not know he's a new mc " like everytime its someone wee know cant we get a surprise or something, premier a good track you like for heavens sake. im even sure them stayfresh guys been sending tracks to logan for ages but he's only just playing them now cause their getting their names up
Like i said Logans show is top dogs in grime pretty much theres always enough music going round week in week out to fill his show his show is for more established people in Grime always has been. Rinse Dj's play more up coming as theres a range of different Dj's one might not like something to play where as another does which is why more underated up comings will get airplay on rinse rather then Logans Rinse has hours upon hours of grime a week that gets played where as kiss on logans is a 1 hour set.

Personally dont feel there's much more you yourself (@Logan) could do, as stated you're already doing the Afterhours and the live bars & interviews (although not for long due to time restraints) and have the label dropping quality music.
It's really up to the Mcs to pull their fingers out and make sure they themselves are consistent and release consistently.

more MCs getting rushed in Nandos
Lots of trolling in this thread which is to be expected. Nice one Logan for starting it. I think some of you are being unrealistic in some of the things you say, like Jammer not spitting, or Kozzie not going on Logan's show - Kozzie is a relevant artist so if he is doing something big he's likely to be invited on and Jammer is his own person.
Personally, and the more I think about it, the more I think I'm in a minority but I'm a sets man. After Hours covers that nicely, I really think its one of the best things to come out of the scene, especially with the massive gap that was left by Westwood.
I also like that more recently the sets have been a bit more varied, it was getting a bit stale having the same 4-5 guys on each time, is sometimes good to mix it up.
