Default If Chelsea offered Torres to your club for £10m..

...would you want them to sign him?

I don't know what happened to this guy.

Without a doubt. Torres is 10x the player that Chamakh and Park are.

yer, as long as he took a massive paycut, with the option to raise his wage if he starts performing to the levels we all know he is capable of.

Our midfield makes him look a lot worse than he is

hes never been the tevez pick up and run it type and thats the only way he could score in this Chelsea team, our creativity is poor

It must be the poorest run of form ever, talent doesn't just vanish like that all of sudden.

He's played 3 games and scored almost double what Torres has in 36.

I reckon he'd grow wings at Anfield. But I doubt it will happen.

Our fans have completely different views of him on here, personally I gave up about a month ago but it's a bit harsh when we haven't got a midfielder who can actually play a through ball

No, I'd rather we call Denilson back from loan and play him up front next to a cardboard cutout of van Persie.

I was optimistic for Torres this season as I thought we'd play a more counter-attacking style. I'm in 2 minds to sell if I were the head-honcho.
I do believe that Torres is fine, just in a shitty situation, not a good style of team for him at all. Hij & I'm sure all Liverpool fans knows he needs special circumstances.

Kudos to Benitez on football focus, before Torres kicked a ball for Chelsea he spoke about this & how he would struggle for Chelsea if they do not cater for him properly, at the time, I thought he just wanted Ancelotti's job, but, for instance, he was saying that even at Liverpool his plan to rejuvenate Torres was to buy Jovetic to dove tail off of him.

I mean, I think a good way to look at it is Yakubu, who is statistically the best striker in the Premier League in terms of chances converted in the box & value for money. Now, at Everton it came to the point where Moyes felt he couldn't rely on him for goals, so much so that he loaned him out to Leicester even though they were desperately in need of a goalscorer.

So again we are in an interesting situation to find, will the environment at Chelsea in this next regime provide the perfect circumstances for him.
Di Matteo is Italian & we all know about Cattenaccio, but, he did try to play the 433 at West Brom, I don't rate him tactically.

My main motivation behind selling Torres would be his age & Daniel Sturridge.
We're getting to the point where resale value is going to start to naturally drop because of age any way, but, given his form, it'll take a hammering.

If I were to move him on, it would only be to Atléti, if he'd wan to go. I actually like Torres. I thought it was great when Drogba scored & he was genuinely happy, he actually likes London too & wants to make it work here, I think most other players would be stropping & be all out in the media slating Chelsea.

Perhaps what's best to see for right now is.. the attack below... Problem is.. experimenting at this stage of the season...
Well... That's the situation we find ourselves in.

    Torres Sturridge

the problem with torres is that he plays for a shit club with no real history, no passion, no heart, no fans, no loyalty, no soul. nothing. not even a fucking manager LOL. just some rusty decaying old unoiled machine with bare broken and/or missing parts. of course hes shit in a chelsea shirt.

put him in any real team he will probly start scoring again. chelsea is just an illusion though and a shitty one at that. we all see thru it, pack up your trick bag of smoke and mirrors and fuck off home.

5 years from now city will be in the same boat as chelsea. you had a good run but the games up, youv been clocked. back to fighting for mid table positions.
