GTA3 and Vice City coming to PS3

It's not confirmed if they are being treated with a HD port or whether it's just going to be the exact same GTA that we had years ago as part of Sonys PStwo classics range on PSN.

I think the games on the American PSN are straight ports, so it depends who's doing it. Could go either way.

GTA3 could potentially get an upgrade from the PS2 version purely because since that original version there's been the xbox and mobile versions, both of which included upgrades to poly count, textures etc. I'm not sure what upgrades VC has had.

I'm not sure I'd buy them - it'd depend on the price. I have all of the 3 trilogy on PC.

It's definitely better for PS1 games, as they run at the original/proper speed without fail. A bunch of PS1 games (like Final Fantasy games) got shit conversions to PAL (Europe) and they have borders at the top and bottom and are squashed, and they run slower.

If by "Can i get a p" you mean buy gift cards and buy stuff on their stores, then yeah. I usually get my cards from eBay - people will email you the code.

so if i dl demos frm usa psn they will work on my english ps3? n can go oline on american one n kill americans?

Remember the disapointment when I got Streetfighter 2 for my SNES and my fire got pissed on by the slow down and the big fat borders on the top n bottom.

Would buy a straight port of both VC and SA, as I can't play PS2 games on my PS3 as I bought it in the USA and smuggled it back through my suitcase lulul, had a PS3 like 5 months before any my friends>>>

Yeah all PS3 games are region free, so if you got an online one from the US store it'll work fine. When I got Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix it was off the Hong Kong store and I play online just fine.

Slowdown isn't as bad if you've never played the 60hz version, but the squashed picture is ugly as fuck. It's in games as late as Resident Evil Code: Veronica X on PS2 as well. Looks so shit.
