Nothing new there. As most attentitive Arsenal fans have pointed out, the club has never spent big. Arsenal's greatest player of all time only cost £8million. I don't know how people are expecting a change especially now that there's the loan for the stadium that needs to be paid off. Unless some rich sugar daddy buys the team & balances the books straight off the bat, it's going to be like this for a while.

i know but problem isn't the amount, its the fact the when we go in for a player we have an estimated amount and when a club want 2-5 mil more we refuse to pay and miss out of a quality player, if we rate the player and truly want him to represent our club to help us win trophies then we have to pay that cost, if not then we end up with a bunch of squillacis, denilsons, chamackhs, parks, etc. not asking to spend massively but spend it on actual quality/improvements atleast, we've sold off some of our better performers and have done next to nothing with the funds we got for them, its partially why the team is in the state its in.
