    Any what? Carbs I'm assuming. Yeah I do eat carbs. Just under 100g a day. Don't find it hard as I just eat meat, eggs and veg tbh. Apparently low carbs isn't even necessary with IF but I'd recommend it.

    @c it's not gas tbh. You just love food too much. Being able to eat for 8 hours is more than enough lol. You BANG out gym though from things I've seen you post so maybe you think youll get light headed or summin lol. Whatever works for you though but wouldn't knock it so readily.

    Talking to NSF I realised I didn't show my progress just where I'm at now. I have pics from January, April and just now. Jan to April I did workout but started my own training regime/IF in early June (Roughly same as April as I didn't really train in exam period). Pics in order below:

    Also I have stayed within pounds of my weight since January. Think I've lost 3-4 pounds max since then. Weigh 178lbs/80.7 kg.

    this is me atm

    haven't weighed myself for ages but i think im about 72kg

    looking to pack on a couple of stone over the next few years

    my training is good but i don't eat enough

    plus i play football a few times a week which burns a lot of calories

    last few pages has made me realise i need to lower the carbs/use maltodextrin only in 1 shake a day and increase the amount of protein im taking

    I've started IF over the last 3 days, been doing a bit of jogging every morning for the last 10-11 days too, not struggling with the fasting tbh, but just wanna make sure that i'm not eating too many carbs and this isn't all a waste, so i've averaged over 250g of carbs a day, and don't really think I could go that much lower, how big of a problem is this and is it worth me doign IF if I can't bring my carb intake down.

    Also as i'm sure you know I am fucking huge so need a big intake or i'd die.

    Well as long as your at an overall cal deficit (burning more than you eat) u'll lose weight

    u dont need to go low carb for IF- but low carb can help. 250g is quite a lot tho, post ur typical day of food

    it might not be that big a problem at all, and yes it's still worth doing IF. can hold u back a little if ur carb-sensitive, but ull still make progress on IF if ur cals are right.

    I used about 5 different calculators to see how many calories they suggested, and just went with what seemed the closest to average, so set myself 2800 a day (i'm like 18 stone nearly so obviously my requiered cals are very high)

    Yesterday I ate
    Beans on toast for breakfast
    roast dinner for first dinner
    chicken sandwich and chips for last meal
    also had 1 can of diet coke and some fruit.

    I will try cut back a little on carbs, but atm I have no knowledge of what nutrients are in what food so trying to adjust atm
    Also will hopefully start going gym within the next few weeks if I keep IF up, so will start weights then.

    Safe cuzzy, the quick progress is due to me lifting a lot heavier than I have been, wasn't happy with my progression so had to up it lol plus due to IF(and morning workouts) I have a lot more energy in the gym.

    I was around that weight but like 5 inches taller like 3 years ago. Never knew about IF back then but running did actually really help me. Start doing pushups too (even if from your knees).

    sign up to myfitnesspal, it logs ur food and will tell u the cals and the macronutrients (protein/fat/carbs)

    but generally-
    protein + fat = meat, dairy, fish
    carbs = bread, rice, pasta, flour, potato

    if i were u i'd eat 2800 cals every day for a week and then compare weight with start of week. if it's less carry on, if it's the same or more lower by 100 cals to 2700.
