Rockstar hunt GTA 5 testers

For those of you eagerly awaiting the release of GTA 5 you will hunt around all day on the Internet to try and find a morsel of information just to keep you going until some other details comes out. Sadly the developer has been a little subdued when it comes to handing out more details, but there could be a way for you to know more, and that is by taking up Rockstar’s offer as a GTA V tester.

There are many young people living in Scotland who find it hard to get a job, so how lucky would it be for them to land what many would consider a dream job? The pay does not sound that great, just £14,000 a year, which you can earn more stacking shelves. However, testing grand Theft Auto V sounds much more interesting to us.

It’s no secret that this next installment of the game needs to deliver, previous versions have done pretty well, but games have evolved over the years, and GTA V needs to prove itself once again – although we have no doubt that it will. It’s hard to say just how long Rockstar has been working on the new game, but surely they have been doing so for a number of years?

In a recent article is suggests that Grand Theft Auto V will be one of the biggest releases of 2012, but there has not been any conformation as to an official release date. We had assumed May, but it could be later, maybe even towards the end of the year.

We should not undermine what this jobs entails, yes it could get repetitive, but just think what a service these people are doing, because if it were not for testers looking for any kind of problem in a game, just think what that could mean for the end user – you? GTA V leaks: Alleged ex-Rockstar employee leaks map, man claims to know all about the game

Here we go then, the first supposed leak of content from GTA V is the map of Los Santos. We're fully expecting a steady stream of 'confirmed' details to seep out onto the interwebs with people claiming to either a) work at Rockstar or b) know a man who knows this guy who may or may not have seen something vaguely Grand Theft Auto V related.



TorontoJack233 claims to be an ex-employee of Rockstar and as a final act of supposed heroism (read: lawsuit aggravating) posted this grainy, ghostly pic of GTA V's map, which again raises the curious issue of why whistle-blowers on the internet always have awful, non-focusing, cameras? Odd.

The map certainly looks legit and we imagine the Las Palmas area will house the beach you see at the beginning of the trailer (see it again below) and the Onlay Hills will be the mountainous region, which we're largely linking because a mountain is a large hill. Clever, eh?

And because all anonymous web users like to serve up slices of spoiler pie, someone else is also claiming to have a scoop on GTA V's content too. The unimaginatively, and rather biased sounding GTA5RULESALL posted a dump of information onto GTAForums.com suggesting that he works for a PlayStation magazine in the UK.

-Cars upgrades will return, and worryingly, we might see the introduction of having to top your ride up with fuel.
-Dogs are in and there'll be some other types of animal including cattle.
-Torrential rain fall and tremors will appear in the game.
-No children as NPCs.
-You can now use people as human shields.

You can read the rest or, like us, you can live in ignorant bliss and wait until Rockstar officially confirm what's coming in GTA V. The choice is yours, but do expect more people to try and ruin it for you between now and the release.

It says that you mite not be able to kill the animals though

that seems dumb because GTA is meant to be realistic and i would rather have them not included at all unless you can kill them just like you can kill people

Most gaming company's are dodgy when it comes to anomals because of PETA. They were having a pop at Battlefeild 3 the other month because you stab a rat though its head but they said fuck all about COD having bombs strapped to dogs. . It werent seen so much as bad thing in Red Dead because it was what they did back then, not just aimlessly killing animals for fun.
