If you aren't arsed about your defenders scoring goals, put all full backs in as they are cheaper.

Although someone like John Terry may actually get you goals.

Last year, if Ronaldo wasn't your captain, you had no chance. Interesting that hes injured at the moment.

Midfielders generally are better to have as captain as they pick up more points for a goal and are likely to assist a lot.

I have Torres as captain currently, as if he scores 20 goals in a season, thats 60 points, and with captain bonus 120. Should pick up at least 150-160 points for my team alone.

Good first week, remember that if you log on and a player has a red or yellow icon next to them, they probably won't be playing in their next match.
